These services are provided over the whole of the United Kingdom by a comprehensive network of suppliers which has been steadily built up since the website first started operating in 2005.

“Was bombarded with calls after pushing the confirm button, felt like I was a piece of meat up for grabs. Terrible approach guys! Give me the quotes please and let me contact people, not the other way around. Some people have called 2-3 times in an hour. Feels like you have created a desperate battle for business.”

“I like to contact people that I choose to contact. I didn't realise that you sell my contact details as "sales leads" to the whole list creating continuous calls and emails all day. Never again - bring back the phone book.”

“I needed a chartered structural engineer with a certain qualification which is not listed on your website. My bank requested this for my mortgage most of the options for structural engineers did not have right qualifications. Really need to alter this as it would have cost lots of money if I had chosen wrongly. Not happy that you don't let people know the difference. I called a member of your staff to let her know but she couldn't have cared less about my complaint. Very bad.”

“Surveyor did the absolute minimum to complete the survey and get paid. No personal service what so ever. Ignored the couple of issues we wanted clarification on during the survey. When we finally got the survey it was riddled with errors - many due to copying and pasting from another report. Managed to spell my name wrong twice even after pointing out it was wrong and how it should be spelt. Avoid like the plague.”

“After explaining that I needed a Building Survey on a grade II listed property, Local Surveyors Direct charged my credit card without securing a surveyor. I repeatedly had to call them to ask when my survey was booked for. After 2 days of emails and phonecalls I was informed that there were no surveyors available...waste of time!! Would not recommend this company. I found a surveyor through calling a local estate agent and asking for their recommendations.”
