“One of the listed surveyors replied the same day, provided a concise outline of the service and quoted a very reasonable fee”

“The site made finding a suitable surveyor very easy. Prices were clear and several surveyors got in touch subsequently. My chosen surveyor sent an email providing sample survey which helped to judge what I was getting. Overall very impressed.”

“I contacted (by email) two of the companies listed as offering arboricultural services. The first, more local, company advised that they could not help (no reason given) but did give me details of a tree surgeon. I declined to contact them as i think them liable to be biased. The second company responded positively, and i have now commissioned them to carry out the required survey. On the basis of the above, I have found your service very useful.”

“The web site works well and I have been contacted by several surveyors, giving me a choice of services and prices. The people to whom I spoke were professional and I will be using one of them for the survey.”

“The email we received was very short and began with Dear Wesley Fry ( not Mr Fry) and came across as rather automated. I note his office is Exeter so rather far off for Sherborne, Dorset”

“I have used this service many times for various different requirements mainly involved in the building industry and have found this service to be a reliable way of sourcing what you require. Damon Hunter.”

“I received details of a number of suppliers, however, to date I have not received any indicative estimates or been contacted by any of the suppliers. I used the service because of the suggestion that I would obtain indicative costs. Without indicative costs there is nothing special about the service.”

“Site easy to use. Surveyors in my local area emailed me same day regarding their availability. One even advised me which qualifications were necessary even though he was unavailable. Have not contacted my choice yet but this site took the stress of looking for an engineer away. Mrs Scott Croydon”

“I don't work with companies that require up front payment as their level of operation is obviously with clients different from me and not professional.”

“I requested suppliers for building control inspections. The 6 suppliers provided were emailed, but did not provide these services, so rather disappointing to use this weblink.”

“I used the website and was quickly contacted by three local architects, two of whom I have made arrangements for an initial visit to advise on an extension to a property, the purchase of which is still ongoing. I was very pleased with the quality of the respondents and hope to engage one as soon as we have completed on our purchase.”
