Thank you for taking the time to comment on your purchase. I am sorry you appear to have been disappointed with the lantern. We want our customers to be 100% happy and therefore should an item not meet expectations for whatever reason it can be returned under our 14 day "Change Your Mind Guarantee", once it has not been fitted and the manufacturers packaging is undamaged. Our stock of this particular item has been thoroughly checked and the standard of the finish found to be high and therefore it seems that unfortunately the one you received was an exception. I have of course reported your feedback to our buyers in order they can in turn relay it to our supplier. If you wish to send in photographs we would be more than happy to receive them. “Light did not arrive on day I was advised it would but after I telephoned to ask where it was I was told it was not due to arrive to Lighting direct for another two days...however two days later it arrived to me and as I was out at the time the delivery person was really kind in hiding the box in an even better place than I had thought of ! Extremely well packaged and the light is super, thank you.”

“Ordered 2 new outside lights from Lighting Direct. Lights look to be well made and of good quality. Fitted one and it looks good and also comes with a 5 year guarantee. The other was faulty on arrival (a mechanical rather than electrical issue). They arranged collection and replacement without any issue. Hopefully the replacement will be OK.”

“A great range of products on their website and the transaction was smooth and trouble free the only small gripe I have is I wasn't contacted on despatch as they said I would be on their site so I wasn't expecting delivery, but this is only a small criticism as everything else was A1.”

“Cons 1. Unfortunately the glass of the Oval light was broken in transit, it was not very well packed in my opinion considering it was a fragile item. Pros 1.The light & bulb were delivered ahead of projected delivery time I was very pleased with this. 2. When I spoke to customer service they agreed a refund without hesitation which was returned to my account sooner than expected. 3. I wouldn't have any qualms about ordering lights again from Lighting -direct's service again. 4. Would definitely recommend to friends and family.”
