I needed to change my order but found it extremely difficult. I couldn't get through to anything other than an answer machine and when I eventually got a call back I couldn't have my incorrect order stopped and was therefore required to pay for both the incorrect and correct orders, and now await the first refund.

The delivery of the lights was spot on. I have installed this around my front door. The product is not good at all. Some of the lights have lose plastic balls attached to them. I had to put in some packing to keep hold of that plastic ball. The lights are not as bright as I thought they would be. I would not recommend to buy this product.

I have three complaints: 1) Their website did not fully describe the item's specification, so when it arrived I had to send it back because it could not be installed where I had planned. So I returned the item. In my e-mail, I explained why I was returning it (due to a lack of information on their website) and also asked a question. 2) None of my questions have been answered. 3) I was a bit cross to be asked to pay for the return shipping when the reson for the return was due to inadequate information on the company website.

*Offensive comments removed by Feefo* I had to wait in 3 times. First he sent a picture of the wrong door saying we weren't at home - not sure which door or where he was. He did not phone us. When I complained they said he would come back i the evening but nothing happened. Finally I had a text for delivery the next day with a different chap which was fine. Lady at customer service v nice and did call back when she said. Light itself easy to install and I am very pleased with the product.

Complained about packaging and damaged box, poor excuse given. We are building a new house next year, but wouldn't use this company for the lighting. Cant imagine very good support if anything went wrong.

Only partially delivered the item - had to wait over a week to get the other item. Asked to have the delivery of this item re-directed to another destination. This didn't happen! Poor communication all the way through.

The website had no dimensions for the diffuser, only the wattage, but I took a chance and fortunately it was OK. On "delivery instructions" I had left a note in the event of no-one being at home. Then, on the confirmation e-mail I was told it must be signed for. The packaging was a huge box filled with padding for a tiny diffuser, which creates problems of disposal as well as wast more generally. In other respects, website, service etc was very good.

Peter thank you for taking the time to leave us feedback. I have checked the website and found that the dimensions for the diffuser are on the additional information tab. You can find this by clicking on 'see full description' and then switching tabs. I hope this information helps with any future products your are interested in. With regards the packaging we have tried many different products and quantities and have found that recycled packaging we are now using gives the products the most protection and has reduced our damages significantly. When delivered it arrived in a huge box in which the small box with the light in was found. It took three large plastic bags to get rid of all this excess packing. The amount of money your firm must waste on packing must be horrendous.

Many of our products are fragile by nature and to avoid the disappintment to our customers of goods arriving damaged, all are packed in robust cartons with plenty of room for internal packing. Goods that leave our warehouse can travel hundreds and hundreds of miles throughout the UK and Europe, at times on varying methods of transport. We do not consider it to be a waste of money in endeavouring to ensure our customers receive their purchases in the first class condition they expect from Lighting Direct. With recycling collections and facilites available to the majority of the population these days we feel confident that all packaging can be disposed of responisibly. The order online advised that half the order was available immediately and the remainder would be delivered a week later. A following email advised that the delivery would not all be together but 11 days later. A new advice statement was sent with no adjustment to the express delivery. Had to follow up to have half the order sent as originally requested (electrician booked) and I still had to query the delivery charge- now advised this would now be revised to the standard charge which again was incorrect as it should be free due to the amount spent. Also the first package arrived and the size of the box and additional packing was absolutely ridiculous - way over the top, or could be done to improve upon this and do their bit for the environment. That said pleased with product

This is the second time I have used this company, the first time was excellent, the seond time not so as the goods were out of stock and took over ten days to arrive.

Nice lights but last no time. Takes 2 hours to fully charge & don?t last more than 20 minutes on 50%. Would not buy again.

The order took for ever to come (meant to be next day delivery) and a lot of chasing to sort; then bulb supplied with it did not work

Product great when it eventually arrived, absolute nightmare with delivery company Lighting-Direct used. Multiple fake delivery attempts and failed deliveries spanning over a week. Good customer service eventually to sort mess out but supplying companies generally need to recognise how delivery companies can trash an otherwise good customer experience.

The lamps we ordered arrived promptly. I had also ordered bulbs but these were not in the order. Two weeks and 3 emails later I find out the lamps are "out of stock" for another 10 days minimum. Why not tell me at the time? I could have sourced the bulbs elsewhere.

I am so sorry we are unable to supply the lamps at present unfortunately due to the Xmas and new year break we are way behind on the restocking of some items but will be pushing our manufacturers to get these items in as soon as possible.
