“My first experience with lighting Direct was not a good one. Having ordered 4 single spotlights, i received two packages. One with a correct spotlight and the other with three incorrect spotlights. I rang as soon as they arrived and was told the three replacements would be sent out immediately. I had to chase this up 4 days later as they never arrived and was told they were out of stock and would be with me in a week. The very next day 2 spotlights turned up. But not the third. I rang again and was told there was a issue with the system and one would be sent the next day and this dis arrive. I had already arranged an electrician based on the first promise and he could only fit the one correct light and got re-charged for the fitting of the three lights. As i say not a very good first experience”

“I purchased a garden solar powered lamppost and a set of solar powered spots lights. On opening the items unfortunately one of the glass panels on the lamp had broken in transit. I sent an email including a photo of the item and received a replacement glass panel 2 days later :-) Both items work really well and look great.”

“We were sold a light with the wrong bulbs, then the right bulbs would not be in stock until Christmas. We would not have bought the light if we had known. Also to avoid confusion add a link to the correct bulb for each light, if you can add "customers who bought this also bought that" it should be an easy useful friendly fix to make.”

“I have placed 2 seperate orders with lighting direct. The first one was perfect but with regard to the second one, one item was missed off. I ordered 2 more lamps to match the first order but only one arrived. Hence my marking of good as opposed to excellant. I am now awaiting my missing item.”

“Poor response when calling to get advice about garden lighting I had bought which was not compatible with a slightly older version of the same system. Waited 4.5 hours for them to ring me back, despite ringing three times to ask for an urgent call back.”
