“Good price as no extra delivery charges on fittings. Website, delivery, etc, all good. Good experience for my first order from them, though as I didn't need to contact them I obviously can't rate them for when things go wrong.”

“The order for your picture light is both confusing and misleading. The two battery item 4276 on the invoice 11041171 indicated "Ultra Bat AAA 4 Pack 1 pieces £3.18". On item 4278 is showed "Battery C pk 2 1 pieces £3.18". I received 2 AAA batteries in one pack and 2 C type in another pack. Both were inadequate to light the lamp, so a further expense of £13.50 for 6 C batteries had to be made for it to work, therefore the quote and invoice were misleading and another 6 batteries had to be bought. Also the use of Pk and Pack on two separate lines is inconsistent and also confusing. The total invoice value showed £74.60 when the actual value was £88.11, (apart from the cost and inconvenience of driving 4 miles to a town). These descriptions were therefore misleading and "misrepresented the sale" representing an increase in cost of 18%.”

“Quite possibly the worst case of over packaging I have ever seen, I can understand why you do it but to put a small under cabinet strip light in what i'm guessing was a box of approx 600 x 500 x 500 and then fill it with bubble wrap is in my opinion a little over the top and a bit pointless as the item was lying on flat on the bottom of the box so was susceptible to any impact from underneath, but that said it did arrive in one piece so thank you for that.”

“The light is just what I wanted ,very good. The only issue was the delivery ( it was the week before Christmas though ) we were given the wrong delivery day by email and were out on the day the light was delivered it was early ! but I won't complain about that .The courier was DPD they are the BEST BY MILES. So the only issue was comunication about delivery. Would I use Lighting Direct again ? YES I would.”

“Two lights ordered, they came before estimated delivery, well packed everything perfect. Lovely lights very pleased. I haven?t installed them yet but they appear to be well designed and simple to install.”

“The goods arrived late and damaged. All attempts to contact the company by email or telephone have been unsuccessful. The letter accompanying the goods explained that goods cannot be returned without a number but it is impossible to get any response at all, let alone a number. I will be making a claim through the courts as soon as possible.”
