“The service was good, delivery prompt, however the product itself was of poor quality and the lampholder broke the first time the light was lowered and had to be repaired so it could be used over Christmas! Potentially if the lampshade was pulled down hard by a child for instance the lampholder could have separated from the curly cable exposing live, bare, wires! Operating instruction's for the lift unit may have prevented the issue, the label on the unit itself which black on black is not readily visible when the power is off for installation!”

“Part order delivered promptly but no notification that remainder of order being sent direct from suppliers. A quick phone call clarified this - the call handler was delightful. Lights were a present and recipients were delighted as they were just what they wanted.”

“Prompt delivery, however paid for next day delivery which was stated clearly on the website but product came 2 days after ordering. It was still quick but quite misleading. Much prefer ordering through suppliers Kirk yourself rather thab Amazon scumbags”

“DPD have not delivered my package. 3 times failed claiming various reasons. Lastly informed package was delivered to Annna. I have no idea who is Annna ! Max at Lighting Direct did his best to help but my departure for Xmas holiday means I am a Christmas present short and can do nothing to track my parcel. Frustrated. John Doyle. Ps suggest you use other than DPD in future who seem to be using delivery personnel who are unfamiliar with Chelsea Studios layout and unable to cope with Christmas pressure.”

“The photo on the website was misleading, and when I rang the technical staff I got the impression they did not really know the answers to my two questions. But they assured me I could return the product if it was not OK. So I decided to go ahead and risk it. I tried to order over the website but it was very confusing and badly designed, so I tried to order by phone but no-one answered or responded to my message to call me back. Eventually after half an hour I got the website order to do through. The item arrived very promptly and I was reassured on the 2 points I had queried. My only quibble is that the light given off is really a bit too cold for a domestic situation.”
