“Ordered two pendant ceiling lights. Lighting Direct suggested we needed specific bulbs so we purchased them a high cost. When the lights finally arrived 6 weeks late the bulbs did not even fit. Tried to return them but received no response to phone calls or emails to customer services. So we now have 10 bulbs at a cost of over £35.00 that are useless even though their supposed experts recommended them. Do not trust their recommended add-ons because custoemr servies will totally ignore you and will not replace them if incorrect.”

Customers can initiate a very speedy return of any item simply by clicking the link on the website without the need to contact the customer service team. Parcels can be dropped off at a convenient point or collected directly from customers own premises if that is easier. “Brilliant service, I ordered a reasonably large orders of expensive lights which arrived really quickly dovetailing with the electrician perfectly. Not only did they come quickly, but they were really well wrapped and labelled fragile so avoiding any transit damage. Very impressed and will use you again.”

“Product very nice. Would have preferred a realistic delivery date rather than keep moving goalposts. The delivery excellent. But the internal packaging had upright arrows as design of box upright to, but the internal packaging was upside down, so as we lifted the polystyrene the globe covers fell out.”

“I have used lighting direct on a number of occasions and the service has been first class. The website is easy to use and order from, the prices are competitive and delivery first class. When I had an issue it was dealt with promptly so what’s there not to like? Why 4 stars?? The issue I have is with a product and not the company. The ASD horizon led outdoor light needs a 20mm hole cut in for the cable entry grommet. Firstly you have to have a hole cutter this size and it’s awkward to get at so why not manufacture in a “knock out” like most electrical boxes?? Otherwise 5 stars”

“Great customer services. After I had received the Lucide Clair Half Lantern I discovered by chance an intermittent message about 20% discount. I mentioned this to customer services and to my delight they gave me Retrospectively the discount. Apart from that a fantastic selection of lights, you are spoilt for choice.”
