The service was good but the lights had a fault the Senser cover was split on both lights other than that I'm pleased with them Sandra .

I ordered more of one particular item than they had in stock. They waited until all items were in stock before they delivered. I am sure that this is more efficient and saved me money on delivery costs but I would have liked to have been given the option to have some items delivered sooner, because not having them was holding up work on my house. Also they didn't bother to let me know that this was what they were doing until I enquired, which is pretty poor.

We have placed two separate orders. The were a bit confused with the expected dates of delivery, bulbs come via Fedex next day but light fittings follow on from anything from 3 days onwards. Spoke to Customer Services and sorted it out. Second order, the goods came a day early!

Whilst the service I received from Lighting Direct was good, the courier used to deliver my item (FedEx) for some reason felt it appropriate to leave my package (un-signed for) in the kennel in the garden of my house with my two dogs. There wasn't much left of it by the time I found it.

Fedex have been contacted and have run an internal investigation into this event. The driver has been reprimanded and I believe you have received an apology call from the Fedex manager. Prompt delivery of stand-alone light & bulbs, however trying to order the correct bulbs for the two lights on lamp was not easy as the description on the light spec did not match exactly the spec of the 2 bulbs. Very frustrating. The pa king box and plastic wrap for the two bulbs was excessive & wasted so much cardboard & plastic. Not good enough in this day & age when we should all be reducing waste & reducing use of plastics.
