About Letterbox Gifts:

Letterbox Gifts produce beautiful letterbox friendly gift sets containing British-made products, each being hand-wrapped in our workshop in Sheffield. They are designed to be delivered straight through standard letterboxes to avoid any annoying trips to the post office! There is a Letterbox Gift for every occasion, with each gift set coming with a complimentary greetings card which can be personalised with your own message. Letterbox Gifts also offer subscriptions, where a different Letterbox Gift comes through the door each month.

I assumed the concept of Letterbox Gifts was that the gift can be delivered through letterboxes? My sister’s birthday gift didn’t arrive on her birthday because no one was there to sign for it…

The gift was good but communication and delivery times were very poor. Paid for 48 hours tracked and yet the gift took a week to arrive and I only got tracking information after having to contact them directly 4 days after placing the order where I was informed Royal Mail were having issues. No apologies about the delay or further communications regarding this.

Disappointing as it wasn’t actually posted through their letterbox so they had to wait for their gift. I wouldn’t have ordered it if I knew this.

All our packaging is specifically designed to fit through a standard sized UK letterbox. Whilst we make every effort to ensure this is communicated on our packaging, unfortunately, from time to time the Royal Mail officers makes the final decision on whether it's suitable to post through the letterbox. Sorry but the whole point is that gifts are delivered regardless of the recipient being in or not. I have had experience of a delivery before now and was lucky enough to be in otherwise a card would have been left. On this occasion I thought I would put previous experience down to a one off, unfortunately however the same again, postman left a card so a gift that was due last week was finally received today after I rescheduled delivery. Luckily the recipient was this time but the postman still knocked rather than posted it. Defeats the object somewhat!

We are always looking for ways to ensure that the gifts are posted directly to recipients through the Letterbox and clearly state on our outer packaging that the boxes are designed to post straight through. Unfortunately the Royal Mail officer delivering the parcel makes the final decision on whether it's suitable to post through the letterbox, we are sorry to hear that in this instance it wasn't posted through. I’ve been disappointed with the service! Trying to send a gift and it didn’t arrive on time and there was no delivery notification via email. Just a request to do a review. Not awful just not up to my expectations. Can’t tell you about the gift as it wasn’t delivered.

We're so sorry to hear the gift set hasn't arrived yet. This was dispatched from us the same day it was ordered. Unfortunately, due to ongoing Strike Action with Royal Mail they are experiencing huge backlogs. We're doing everything we can to get them to get our parcels moving sooner and we're also looking at alternative couriers in the lead up to Christmas for future orders. We kindly ask that you bear with us while we investigate this further and sincerely thank you for supporting small British business in such challenging times. We hope to update you shortly.

I was hoping it would be delivered on the date I specified as it was a birthday gift but unfortunately it was a day late. 6 days after the order was made

We're sorry to hear that the gift wasn't delivered on your preferred day. On Monday and Tuesday last week there was disruption with Royal Mail services due to the unusually high temperatures. Royal Mail officers were asked not to complete their rounds once it became unsuitable working conditions. Apologies if this impacted the speed of the delivery service, I can assure you this was not normal circumstances and the parcel was posted out on Monday using a 48hr service. The present itself was nice, albeit theissue was missing item from the gift and the customer service has been awful. I e-mailed about the missing item from the gift I ordered initially, and have still not had any response. I followed up via live chat, and all I got was a response confirming my box had been delivered - so they clearly did not even read my enquiry as I specifically stated there was missing items FROM my box.

Have already been in touch to advise that despite ordering a gift for mother’s day very early and requesting delivery on 25/3/22- it failed to be delivered until after mother’s day which was particularly disappointing as both my husband and myself have covid and couldn’t even visit

The product was brilliant but was dispatched a whole day later than the cut off at 11 am, ordered the night before in order to meet this. Missed the occasion and had to sort something else. No thought and little care on email did not address my question other than it has now been dispatched! The box did not also fit through our standard letterbox. No issues with Royal Mail, they delivered within 24 hours of dispatch.

We pride ourselves on having an incredibly fast turnaround which is so important when gifting to someone else. Unfortunately the gift my friend received was intended for someone else! I had ordered the birthday tea lights for her but they arrived with a card wishing someone good luck starting a new job!

We have a standard letterbox but box did not fit through and had to make special trip to the post office 5 Miles away to collect.

I chose letterbox gifts for a birthday present for a friend who was away on holiday, so it was important that a) the gift could be delivered without anyone being in, and b) it was delivered on a specific day. I had the option to chose both of these, but delivery was attempted a day early (when she was not there) and also wouldn't fit through the (standard sized) letterbox so my friend had to stop in on her holiday to be able to receive the gift. The gift itself was lovely, but the delivery experience just didn't work.

I will rate this in 3 areas : Price : I think its cheap compared to other wine subscription however cheap can also mean quality. In this case it is cheap or affordable but wine quality was not great. Packaging: i love the recycled materials as packaging and coming in a flat bottle by our letterbox is fun - I think the only fun thing we had with this subscription. Wine Quality : In all honesty - none of the 3 bottles are great. We opened it and tried but not finished or enjoyed any of the 3, sadly they are not the best wines we’ve had.

Ordered two parcels - one was nearly a week to arrive and the other has still not arrived! Had to email and was offered a further delivery. Ordered on the 6th Feb and still not arrived
