About Letterbox Gifts:

Letterbox Gifts produce beautiful letterbox friendly gift sets containing British-made products, each being hand-wrapped in our workshop in Sheffield. They are designed to be delivered straight through standard letterboxes to avoid any annoying trips to the post office! There is a Letterbox Gift for every occasion, with each gift set coming with a complimentary greetings card which can be personalised with your own message. Letterbox Gifts also offer subscriptions, where a different Letterbox Gift comes through the door each month.

I did not receive a receipt and the gift did not have a message card in it which I had typed!!!

I ordered the Macarons gift box for a friend's birthday - two weeks in advance with the desired delivery date of 30.05, which I entered in the field provided on the website. Unfortunately, the birthday gift was delivered two days after the order and therefore arrived much too early. That spoiled everything...

I’m very disappointed that having ordered a ‘letterbox’ birthday gift for a friend, as I knew she wouldn’t be home, that instead of being posted Royal Mail left an ‘unable to deliver’ card...totally defeats the idea & has meant she has got to collect it..not happy.

All our packaging is specifically designed to fit through a standard sized letterbox, unfortunately from time to time the Royal Mail officers aren't able to post them through. The gift didn't actually fit through my friend's letter box so it sort of defeated the purpose of using this service. She had to collect it at the post office which inconvenienced her and meant that she received my gift late. A bit of a disaster really.

These are designed to be delivered through standard sized UK letterboxes, however sometimes in older properties with smaller letterboxes or apartments, this may not always be possible. I ordered a birthday gift to be delivered to my niece last Friday. It has still not been delivered. There is no tracking on the order so I can’t tell where it is. Very disappointed

Unfortunately, although I ordered the letterbox gift to arrive on my friends 70 birthday on 4 February for 27 February, as far as I know it still hasn’t arrived. It hadn’t last time I asked. Kind regards Jo Brown

Ordered 2 boxes at the end of November as Christmas presents for parents I can't get to visit because of covid. Both arrived absolutely last minute on 23/12 and 24/12 which was very stressful as thought they wouldn't arrive in time. Delays in post are understandable but not 3+weeks so wouldn't order from this company again

My order has still not arrived and was due to be delivered on the 15th December to a friend who is dying from cancer. I have tried to contact you by email and phone with no response - so understandingly not impressed!!!

Dear Vanessa, I am so sorry if this was delayed. I have checked on the tracking for your order and it is showing as delivered the day after on the 16th. We have experienced a few delays over the Christmas period so occasionally some deliveries were slightly late. I can see we have received an email from you and this has been responded to. I wanted to give zero stars but it is impossible to do as you can’t actually leave a review if this option is clicked. Appalling service. Gift ordered on 3rd Dec. Email sent 9th to say on it’s way. Due to be delivered 12th. Still not arrived. This was before the ‘Christmas rush’ to blame Royal Mail. No response to emails and telephone messages left. Very poor.

My gift to my daughter-in-law was a bottle of wine, with chocolate. I gave plenty of time for this to be delivered the day before her birthday. It did not arrive then, or on her birthday, or even the next working day. Royal Mail is not reliable. However, Letterbox did fulfil the order the next week.

Apparently gift too large to go through a standard letterbox despite being advertised as a ‘letterbox gift’ - would not use company again! Very disappointed.
