“The colour of this yarn differed vastly from the website photo and the colour name of almond. I wrote and received a reply as follows. Sorry, the reply has copied first. I never received my promised 10% discount refund. Thank you for your email, I can see there is a difference in the yarn colour from the image on our website to the image you have sent us, I can only apologise for this, unfortunately we are only able to use images that our supplier supplies us with. I have added the 10% to your new order for the cream and have refunded the difference back to you, as soon as we receive the almond back we will issue a refund. Apologies again for this. The difference in colour between your website photo and the yarn is vast. I am returning the yarn and phoned to ask for a replacement. I was told this service is not available to do a return and reorder. I have reordered the yarn in cream however I could not use the 10% discount for being a new customer. I think the almond yarn is more of a camel or sand shade rather than an almond. As a new customer I am disappointed. Thanks for your attention to this matter. Ann”

“Quantity required was not available but order was despatched as soon as new stock arrived, knits beautifully, bit harder than I would have hoped but have only had one knot out of 7 skeins so far so will take that!! My niece might have to wear something under it!!”

“Great timing. Needed the yarn to knit a large item as a wedding gift. Panels of lovers knot and chains of hearts in a single piece (except border) in time for wedding. A good quality wool for this in a traditional colour. Thank you.”

“I'm often inspired by one of the knitting patterns illustrated on the website and over the years have made a shawl, a blanket (through lockdown) , socks, gloves and jumpers. Ordering is easy and delivery usually fast although sometimes the colour yarn I want is unavailable.”
