“Laughing Hens are my go-to supplier for knitting wool. The website is easy to use and service is prompt. However, I cannot show you progress on the project for which this wool was purchased (Sage Throw by Marie Wallin) as I am still waiting for one colour - Avocado - to become available. As you may imagine having spent £200 ish on wool waiting for one ball is more than a little irritating. In the meantime, I am going slower on my WIP but only have a few rows left. I can always default to socks and my stash...........but would like to get started. However, not Laughing Hens fault I imagine the supply hiccough is with the mill/dyers.”

“The only website I could find that enabled you to buy a pattern and all of the recommended wool, needles etc that you needed for the pattern - which was great for me as it meant I could place my order and get knitting as soon as I wanted. Also, they did not have all the wool I needed from the same batch so they phoned me and we agreed a slight change to the order over the phone. A great shop.”

“Several orders I have placed on this site have had some kind of mistake in them, whether it's a missing item or the wrong item. Customer support used to be great and rectify the issue immediately, but my last order took a while to get a (quite dismissive) response, and eventually I stopped getting a reply whatsoever. Honestly a shame because although it's maybe just down to the site being busy right now, it's really soured my opinion of Laughing Hens.”

“Moccasin soles came very quickly, they're a bit narrow but I used them for a crocheted slipper boot so maybe it was a big ask for them. However the friend lived them and went off on hols with her new slipper boots. I bought a size bigger than her foot, definitely needed the extra length. Think they would fit a knitted slipper, I used a chunky wool, perhaps a bit too thick for the soles. Good product, well made, easy to attach, timely delivery.”

“I am totally disappointed in Laughing Hens. I placed an order on 7/2/2020 and received a shipment notice on 7/3/2020. It is now 8/2/2020 and I have not received my order. My credit card was charged and cleared on 7/3/2020. Why have I not received my order? I contacted Laughing Hens on 7/21/2020 to ask about my shipment and was told that due to COVID 19 the order would take up to 4 weeks to receive. It's now been more than 4 weeks and I have still not received the shipment. I would DEFININTELY not recommend ordering from Laughing Hens to anyone who is thinking about it.”

“I was in the midst of a shawl project named "Floatini" and could see that I did not have enough Cabrito by Manos to finish. I began looking online for Cabrito and found it in short supply. I was lucky enough to discover the Laughing Hens website and found the yarn - not in the colors of the first skein I used but in a good colorway, "Autumn", to finish the project. My order was shipped to the United States in a timely way and arrived in perfect condition. I have not finished my "Floatini" but will!”
