“I already reviewed Laughing Hens Service, and it was top notch. This review is of the yarn, Opium Palette. It is an intriguing yarn. It’s almost mesmerizing, the way it looks lacy and then beaded, and the way the thicker parts form random patterns. It probably would be hard to use for any pattern that wasn’t designed for it because of the difficulty of getting a consistent tension and gauge. I think it’s going to be perfect for my need - something that covers my old, unattractive, upper arms, but isn’t hot. Attached is a picture of the left front of the cardigan in progress. I previously sent a picture of the completed back, which shows better how the colors form patterns. I’m using Lilac Wine color.”

“I was a bit worried about ordering from the UK, since I’m in the U.S., but the yarn (Opium Palette) was quite unique, at least as far as I have seen, and so was intrigued enough to want to try it. I should not have worried - service was quick and accurate.”
