“Unfortunately my "next day" order, for which I paid extra, failed to arrive the next day, or the day after that. DX deliveries let General Lamps down badly. Customer services chased DX who were the real problem. Ultimately DX claimed my package was damaged but only when pursued by General Lamps. Another package was sent out but DX did exactly the same. After waiting a full week for my urgent delivery General Lamps realised it just wasn't going to happen so made a complete refund. I have had to place an order with another supplier ... if they use DX then I'm stuffed!”

“My initial order went astray. A phone call revealed that had been the. Last lamp of the type I wanted in stock. The next shipment was in transit and could take a few weeks to arrive. Whilst this was not ideal, the guys I spoke to were polite and helpful. I finally received the lamps a month after ordering. At least I was kept up to date with the process.”

“Poor customer service. I ordered two projector bulbs, which arrived promptly but one of them was broken. When I emailed to ask for a replacement I didn't even get a reply. Disappointing.”

“Very good site search and check out facility - it felt secure. Items were out of stock - fortunately I had not paid the premium postage. What was impressive was the way my telephone call was handled when chasing the item up. Goods had just arrived at warehouse and were fast tracked to me.”

“I am writing to report that the fluorescent tube I ordered (Order No. 100230476) was delivered to me broken on Monday. I have attached pictures showing the condition of the item upon delivery. I also tried contacting customer service by phone regarding this issue, but I have not received any response yet. I would appreciate your assistance in resolving this matter, either through a replacement or further guidance on the next steps.”
