Well done team, my 85 year old mother thought that the light fitting in her kitchen Which my father installed & really liked, but sadly passed away a couple years ago was going to be removed, due to having twin T5 28watt fluorescent tubes in it. I told her that there is still some companies with stock, she told me the electrician told her it would have to come down & be replaced as you can’t get those tubes anymore. So as I had used lamps online previously, took a chance I might find it with you, lo & behold yes you did, so thank you! My mum is very happy

Hi Warwick, Royal Mail tried to deliver on 21st May but you were not in . Here is your tracking number TP884249321GB . I have found it hard to find small screw in clear candle bulbs for my chandelier, & was so chuffed to have discovered them with this company. Delivery was prompt and all arrived as discribed, my chandelier is now complete again and looking great. Thank you so much.

The short version is...after placing my order in February (I believe it was), it has taken 3-4 months to receive my order. During that period, i had to contact general lamps several times via email and phone to gain any updates on my order. I was never contacted by the company at any point. I think for future reference, any customers orders which have delays/queries should be highlighted and regular contact made to update the customer until orders received and not for the customer to have to do the administrative work for you. I am happy with goods received, but the Customer Service Dept definitely needs improvement!
