“The staff explained that although the lamps were out of stock, they were expecting a delivery so I was able to order them in advance. They duly turned up in good condition having been well packed by the company and delivered by Royal Mail tracked service. Would highly recommend and will order again as and when. Private purchaser.”

“Much faster delivery than expected! The bulb I ordered was not in stock, which had been stated on the website with the note that it might take longer to deliver - in the end it was super fast. Hpapy with the service - now I just hope the bulb lasts :).”

“The worst light bulbs I've ever bought. I've bought 100w incandescent light bulbs, and they lasted for few days. Also the bulbs were getting very hot, including the feed wire.”

Hi Gheorge Sorry to hear that it didtn work as you expected . 100w bulbs will get hot as they are incandescent. Why not go for LED as these will run much cooler . We are happy to do a straight swap on your order for LED with no additiolnal charge to you Best Regards Service

“One of my wall lights had almost failed. The other 2 I thought were ok. Having put new ones in I realised that they were all too dim. Thank you ! Despatched immediately unfortunately you used Royal Mail so delayed ! Not your fault.”

“Was so pleased to find some replacement bulbs for my parents china cabinet had looked everywhere for some with no luck and then came across lamps on line and got exactly what I wanted. Delivery was fast. So very pleased all in all.”

“Avoid at all cost. Verry long time i have waited for delivery almost 6 weeks. I called them when i realised is wrong order, it could be from my end not sure, but they said it was over their refund period, then person i spoke over the phone asurred he will speak with his manager to see what they can do, then another month pased and no reply from them. I called again and when I tried to explain he did not let me finish explain he was keep insisting that this is almost 3 months since and all of that. It was a waste of time chasing them, then i they have loads of 1 star review and it seems same issues that i had with them or close. The reason for this review is that other buyers would see it and think twice, or atleast be more carefull and always check if everiting is correct. I'm sorry if this will affect the business in any way but i believe it is the right decision.”

Hi Joel, That's not accurate and certainly not fair. You ordered a 22w bulb from us when you meant to order a 55w bulb from us . You called us just now 4 months later and asked to return it . We advised that this is well past our returns date and that we are unable to help you further. I dont think we have been unreasonable here we try our best to help customers when we can, but we have to put a fair and reasonable limit on returns. “I'm not a commerical customer but a "retail" one. The bulbs I ordered arrived on time as promised and are good quality. May not be the cheapest but I've ordered from General Lamps before and quality and service is good and, to me, that is very important.”
