Lights ordered on a next day service, email received from DX - first thoughts, they'll just leave them out the back and drive off, if and when they turn up (next day to them isnt necessarily the day after your ordered). A few days later they arrived, with the driver trying to push lights back into the box as they had damaged it and 5 lights were broken. 3 deliveries from DX and not one has been faultless.

Had a problem with an old light which did not work in my batch. Did contact customer service but they seemed to think I mixed up my old tube with there new one. Sent pictures of what I received yet they couldn’t not believe it was there fault I ended up not bothering to keep emailing them So dissatisfied with the outcome and wrote off the cost of 1 tube Having been in business myself. You sometimes just have to bit the bullet and except what your customer says has happened weather it true or not Would I return possibly not They need to check goods before despatch even if that means taking a tube out of its sleeve to make sure the correct items inside

Folks, I can't give a definitive view as the tubes have not arrived in Dublin yet. This is due to the high import customs duty applicable to goods coming from outside the EU (Brexit!!). A relative is taking them here shortly on their holidays car trip. Otherwise there would be no purchase from the UK. Best rating would be 4 stars even if the goods are correct and undamaged. I don't know yet. Delivery was timely to the UK address. Brexit inconvenience is a huge barrier to business.

This order was placed on the 16th February. We live in Jersey in the Channel Islands, which is part of the UK. I was shocked to discover that the shipping from mainland England to Jersey would cost £15.00. This is exorbitant for such a small and light package. The average cost for a similar package is less than £4.00. I still went ahead with the order as I wanted coloured bulbs and had difficulty sourcing them elsewhere. Your Company offers a fast service. However these bulbs did not arrive until 8 days later on the 24th February, which was disappointing. The bulbs seem fine, however given the cost of postal delivery, it's unlikely I will order from you again.

Order safely packed; good price for items. Email said order shipped 31 Decr. but Royal Mail tracker suggests they got it 8 January; finally arrived 10 Jany. which seems rather slow.

I have not yet received the lamps but it is on its way. Unfortunately, the final price of the lamp will become twice the initial price. This is due to the fact that the UK is now a third country after Brexit and we, in the EU, have to pay taxes and levies on things “imported” from the UK. The final price becomes twice what I expected, plus it takes much longer to get to me because of the border controls. A pity…

Hi Javier, Thanks for the feedback but its not quite right. We deduct UK taxes on all goods we send to the EU . So when you enter your country of destination we deduct 20% UK taxes. Local taxes are added on when goods arrive in Belgium. But I agree on border controls it takes far to long to get goods through customs Best Regards Export Sales

The lamps we ordered were "warm" and had to be put on order, it seems. However, knowing that there was going to be a longish delay would have been helpful. We changed to "daylight" and the order was satisfied right away. BUT No one kept us informed

Yet again the reputation of a good company is tarnished by the couriers,i paid for nexy day delivery and it arrived four days later. As requested the package was to be left at a neibours if i wasnt in.That didnt happen and so i went on a big photo shoot with my main light and no spares...

I bought a lightbulb that doesn’t work although I think the problem is my light fitting that I will change. I have had trouble sending back. I called customer services and told to email service at general lamps. I couldn’t get the full email address as the person was rushing the phone call. I emailed the address on the website, no reply. It took a week for the lightbulb to come and I had to pay £5.95 delivery. Now I want to send it back I still have had. I reply and will need to pay to send it back. The lightbulb isn’t standard and therefore not worth hanging on to. So far not impressed.
