I ordered my tubes from here and they arrived intact in a jiffy bag after nine days.But prevos to this i had E-mailed customer service three times to enquire when my lamps would be arriving,but no one bothered to reply,so poor customer service.

Didn't realise when I ordered that the item was actually out of stock until I had finally paid. When I heard nothing after more than two weeks I sent a reply - no reply Finally a month later I got a message saying it still wasn't in stock (I had found another supplier by then) and asked me to accept a slightly different bulb which I did. Not great service though, but it's only a £10 bulb....

Hi Ralph , we are sorry to hear that you were not happy with your experience of shopping with us. As you may know striplights have been made obsolete so its now hard for us to find this light source , when you place your order if an item is out of stock a pop up appears before you place your order to advise you that the item is out of stock . I can see that our service team contacted you and offered an alternative that you have accepted. I have sked them to contact you once the original lamp that you ordered comes into stock and we sill supply it to you free of charge Best Regards Service Manager

Quick delivery but one of the lamps after several days has blown. Not sure how the other 2 are going to fair now. Fingers crossed

Had to chase for delivery updates but the worst of the issue is that these were for my 90 year old father and when he put the 1st 1 in it blew, the second one not only blew but tripped the circuit breaker. He is a former electrician who wonders if the lamp voltages are labelled wrongly?

The bulbs I ordered and the price are both good. I just wasn't happy that the order arrived 8 days after I was told it was dispatched, and then found it was actually dispatched 5 days after I was told it was. In between, when I asked where it was, they waited till it had arrived before replying with "It's been delivered" - that was the entire e-mail. There are lots of places to buy decent bulbs at a decent price; next time I'll pay a bit more elsewhere to see if I get decent service.

I ordered five Swan Halolux Ceram lightbulbs. The lightbulbs I received were generic bulbs, rather than made by Swan. General Lamps/lamps-on-line.com have now acknowledged that the items they sent me are not what I ordered, or what was described on their invoice. They have now explained that the lamps they sent me were, 'an unbranded equivalent to our Swan one'. They have offered to refund the cost if I return the items, but I have decided to avoid the hassle. I will, however, also avoid General Lamps in future. They advertised branded lightbulbs and sent generic ones. They also misrepresented the items in their invoice, presumably hoping I would not notice. These are not the actions of a reputable company.

Hi Barbara, Sorry that you were not happy with your experience shopping with us. I understand your issue. I have checked with the buying team and we have Swan brand arriving in 4 weeks. We can put these on back order for you and send when they arrive? In the meantime oif you keep the white box lamp you will at least have some light until Swan brand arrives. The whole process was easy and the products arrived intact which is always a worry with bulbs. However they were not as described on the website. I received 3.5W with less filaments than the 4W I ordered and the existing 4W bulbs they were supposed to match. I did email but didn't receive a reply other than this request to leave a review. It's not a major issue but just a niggle.

I ordered 4 lamps from yourselves. On arrival I fitted the lamps to my unit and initially they worked OK. However ,within say 5 hours of use, two of the lamps had blown with the fillament broken. Needless to say I am not happy with this situation and request two replacement bulbs please. I have retained the broken bulbs should you want to examine them. Please advise Martin Harris

Delivery has been promised for over a week now following my phone calls and email. Please investigate your poor service in my case. Your Company may be well intentioned but delivery of my order has been unsatisfactory and the cause of my low rating.

The lamp was fine but I was very disappointed with the delivery service. I paid £10 to ensure a next-day delivery due on Friday and the lamp was delivered on the following Monday, hence a waste of £6.01.

Still not received my order.Called the company auto answer said all operators busy leave number and will call back still awaiting callback .If a small order was a problem don't know what will happen to a larger order.In a dilemma.Haven't bothered to even ask for a refund.
