Bought 4 Ever Ready Fireglow bulbs in Feb. Sent them an email in March- copy here.... Hello, The first bulb blew after 3 days. The second blew after 13 days. My previous Compton Fireglow lasted over two years. I've now got one in use and one spare from four inside a month? Not looking good is it? Thoughts? ............................................. No Reply. Lousy Service. It's now June, just over 4 months since purchase and the last bulb is in use. I'm looking online for a better bulb and a better supplier.

Purchased a downlighter shown as stock. Had to wait 2 weeks as it was not in stock and to push for answers. Could have chosen another one or supplier if they were honest with their website.

I am sure the items (two Ballasts and 8 tubes) were fine but I struggled understanding the tube connections to each ballast, dropped you an e mail asking for help but got no reply. Bought LED tubes locally instead and effected a solution which involved rewiring the fittings. so purchase of ballasts and tubes was was in vain.

Hello Alan, Thank you for your review. We do not recall seeing an email from you. However, we do not give installation advice when it comes to fitting ballasts. This needs to be done by a qualified electrician. In these types of circumstances we would always take the view of; If you do not understand the connections and fitting instructions on the ballast you really should not be trying to do this work yourself.
Delayed order without communication. Only given updates when I chased it. Took 3 weeks to get it. I was told due to delay it would be dispatched next day delivery, even that didn't happen, was dispatched 48hr delivery in the end. Overall a disappointing customer experience, not encouraging me to place further orders.

Unfortunately the item I ordered (bulb holder) on 01/04 is a special order item and now not available until mid to end May from the manufacturer. I had hoped to have finished the repair by now. Not really Lamps2udirect's fault but still a disappointment.

Puchased 4 replacement lamps on behalf of a good custoer, fitted, and in within a week, 3 tubes failed due to hot spots. Contacted customer service, and was told it was the fittings and this had never happen before. The previous tubes had been fine for over 4 years!!!

Bulbs l purchased if you move them when warm or lit they blow. I purchased for a lead lamp even in a stationary position they were very poor quality.
