They advertised having a particular product, took order and payment and now don't have it. Not sure if I was even refunded......

Well I bought some lamps from these characters a while back. I paid for next day service with the understanding that the bulbs for the dimplex heater would arrive on the Monday because of the weekend. After paying I got an email stating that they would have to be ordered in and would take 3 to 5 working days to arrive. And that I would get a refund for the next day service. The lamps arrived, thank you but no refund was received. I contacted to ask for the refund on principal not because I need 12 pound and have never heard from them again. I could have got the bulbs from other companies but chose this one for the next day service. Thank you for giving me the opportunity to warn others.

I bought a replacement fluorescent tube for my holiday home.Unfortunately my husband was hospitalised shortly after it was delivered and I was unable to visit the home to fit the tube until over 2 months after delivery. I found the tube was not the brand that was advertised on the Lamps2udirect website,but a generic unbranded one.Nor was it the length advertised.It was shorter than shown on their website and did not fit in the housing. I emailed them to explain the situation,but they failed to respond at all. I acknowledge that I didn't contact them quickly due to unforeseen circumstances,but I expected a response nonetheless. I would not use them again nor recommend them to others,as they falsley advertise a branded product with incorrect details about the product.

You're having a laugh, aren't you? I ordered from you a lamp to be delivered within '3 to 5 working days' then emailed you over a fortnight later for you to admit you had none in stock and had to order more. Here's your review... 'Avoid this company like the plague¡.

Only a small order for bulbs I couldn't get elsewhere. Had to emailed after not hearing anything regarding dispatch. I was informed they were out of stock and would send when new stock arrived. I ordered 12 bulbs 8 eventually arrived with no explanation. I emailed again to enquire and had a curt email saying they they are no longer available and would be refunded for the difference. Still not received refunded but as only a small order not chased up. Appreciate stock issues but customer care and communication could be better.

Very disappointed with my service from lamps 2u direct. Ordered some bulbs, fully paid including postage to Ireland. Then had to pay customs on arrival in Ireland. Due to postage error / incomplete postage details by lamps 2u direct the product was then unable to be delivered and was returned. I followed up and was asked some basic details and then I never heard from them again. Numerous follow up requests by me and no response. Requested a refund but it seems they are just going to keep my money, and have not responded. Absolutely thrash customer service. They just can't be bothered. Wont respond but they will keep my money though

Two out of the ten bulbs ordered blew within a fortnight. Wary of buying again.

I purchased bulbs and then was contacted to pay extra for delivery , when the items arrived in Ireland I was then contacted to pay vat , which I duly did , the items were delivered before our opening hours and because we were not here the items were returned to you ? We have order from other English companies in the past , but they used couriers and there was never a problem.

Unfortunately, despite 2 attempts, both bulbs were broken so we gave up. It was probably the couriers fault but in my humble opinion the ‘right angled’ cardboard packaging, in both cases, should have stretched the full length of the tube on both sides. But I did get a refund so thankyou very much for that. And good communication.

Ordered a set of under kitchen cupboard bulbs, sent the actual sizes of what we needed, when they arrived they were to small. Called up to explain what they had sent, the lady in the phone said that's all they have! If I wanted to return them, (WE) had to pay for (THEIR) mistake! Charming...

I ordered lightbulbs that were in stock on the website. Didn't hear anything further so emailed. Got very fast reply advising out of stock but would be back in within a week - was this OK? It was OK. That was two weeks and still no lightbulbs. And now they're asking for a review. Don't buy from this company.

We ordered 30 LED tubes and idenitified that over one third were damaged. The supplier refused to accept responsibility as this was not noted until 48hrs had elaspsed when they were individually inspected.
