Delivery extremely slow, paid for standard delivery only, received items 21 days after ordering and only after chasing up. Not sure if I would use again but prices are very competitive, so ok if you order well in advance of needing the item.

not good. seller sent the wrong items - not as described seller is a thief- I returned the item and never got a refund. don't fall into this trap and waste your money, go find a better shop that will give you something for your money's worth! if you care about your money don't buy here, don't risk your money

Thank you for taking the time to write a review about Lamps2Udirect.com. We are sorry to hear of your experience with wrong items being sent and not receiving a refund on the return. We have looked into your order though and can see that the correct items were sent and have never been returned to us. We have requested confirmation several times now and asked 'who has signed for the item' This unfortunately has not yet been provided. Can your courier confirm who received the goods? Sadly, we cannot issue a refund for items that have not been returned to us. This is pretty standard procedure, weather it's ordering online or from High-street shop. We have to have the items back before issuing a refund.

I ordered second time, because my first order came broken. The packaging was very poor in my first order. The fulerausant came broken into three peaces.

I ordered next day on a Friday. Despite telling the person I spoke to, that I needed it on Saturday, they didn’t mention that it wouldn’t be with me till Monday. To make it even worse, my order didn’t come until Tuesday. Poor.

Please note, if a next day delivery order is placed after 2pm on a Friday, it will not leave us until the next working day (Monday) Which is why you received it on Tuesday. This information is advised where you make the selection for a 'next day' on the checkout; Before you make payment and place the order. We are sorry you missed this.
A few days after I had ordered and paid for light bulbs I was told there were none in stock. Refund was made very quickly, but overall a very disappointing result.

Sometimes stock levels are not 100% accurate which results in us having to cancel and refund an order. This happens rarely, but does sadly occur with online orders. It looks as though this was addressed for you quickly and a refund was arranged immediately.
Bulbs were not suitable and although it turned out it should have been my responsibility to order the correct ones the after sales communication was very negative and ended up with a product I couldn’t use.

We apologize for the problems you encountered, but with anything, isn't it always the customers responsibility to 'order the correct' item? We are sorry you were using the wrong item which resulted in the product failing, but we are unable to accept returns for items that are damaged through no fault of our own. Again, this is pretty standard procedure.
Order 2 starters on a next day service. Called them to be reassured that I'd definitely receive them and they didn't turn up until the day after when we no longer needed them. Refused to give us a refund and then argued with us before not responding to emails. Very poor quality customer service and unprofessional behaviour. We will never use them again.

We do make a note in our delivery information and on the checkout page regarding 'next day' deliveries this time of year, occasionally being delayed. I think this note/message was missed - But we are more than happy to have the items back for a full refund. We do advise this, but did not get a response from yourself. We are sorry this order did not work out.
Not worth buying these bulbs as they only lasted a couple of weeks and then blew . Will not be ordering these again

Made order very easily, payment taken no problem. I had to contact them after 2xweeks to say I had no information and no product. Emailed back to tell me, oh sorry that item is out if stock and we had to reorder we will gave them in a week, then you will get yours. Very Dissapointed communication was extremely poor. 4 weeks later product arrived. Will not order again.

Telephone service was great but both tubes were shattered in transit. Maybe you need to get on to Royal Mail over this.

500w.GES lamps. Ordered 9. 2 arrived smashed in the box due to poor packaging The lamps do not look very well made I do not expect them to last long. I would rather pay more for a quality product.

Horrible customer service, especially by Martin from their team, first they stall with dispatching my order during several working days, ignore my email, then when i called them, Martin promised it would be dispatched that day ( although he denies it, but he's lying i can prove that ), and then cancels my order, and mocks me, for pointing out his failed promises, and taunts me, saying "He's not sure what he could have done better ", despicable attitude by this company, and by Martin specifically. And as for your again dishonest reply Martin, you cinically claimed you're "unsure" where a promise was made, you claimed to me on the phone several times, that i will get an email notification about the dispatch by Tuesday evening, i can objectivly prove that, you are again being deliverately cinical and dishonest about, and you're not "confused" at all, you know damn well what you did; Also there was nothing preventing you from dispatching it on Monday, or Tuesday morning, as 95% of businesses in the UK do; Furthermore you never bothered to reply to my email about the order status i sent in Monday, how conveniently you omitted that in your reply, from what i read here there were at least 20 other reviews that complained about similar behavior from your regarding missing dispatches and delays.

Sometimes as a business we get things wrong. This was not one of those occasions. We appreciate the time you have taken to leave us a review (s) (You have left reviews on a few different platforms now) but this is not what happened at all. To summarise, we do not make 'promises' on deliveries. As a small business, we are reliant on third parties to deliver our goods. There are always (rarely) things that could go wrong with Royal Mail and Fedex deliveries, so we are careful not to make promises, although, we always do our best to despatch items on time and in this case, we would have done. Your order was placed on a Sunday night and was due for despatch on Tuesday - Not 'several days' after. Furthermore, you selected our standard delivery, which is a 5 working day delivery schedule. You would have received the items comfortably within this timeframe. You opened a PayPal dispute on the Wednesday and we immediately issued a refund. It's very hard to see why you are so upset in these circumstances. Hopefully you managed to find these lamps somewhere else.
The lamps I ordered didn't work, both the first one and then the replacement one. Must have come from a batch that had been dropped in transport or something.

Delivery was good no problems there. Two bulbs were installed on blew within 10 seconds. Given the cost of post & packaging, it was not worth my while to return it
