“The man's holdall I purchased is beautiful. The leather is wonderfully soft but sturdy and the item is exactly what I was looking for. It arrived promptly. I have taken 1* away due to the packaging. The item was packed in an inner clear plastic bag, and then the outer packing was two smaller plastic bags that were sellotaped together (each bag fitted either end of the holdall). There was only one strip of sellotape holding the two plastic bags together centrally around the holdall; which then came apart during transit. The inner bag was then also ripped. By some miracle the purchased item has survived intact with no scratches. I am very pleased with the item, but I would have expected the packaging to protect the item and at least be sealed properly. I am very happy with purchase and will buy from Lakeland Leather again; but I thought "luxury" items would have better protective padding. The delivery driver/postman was worried about the condition of the parcel too.”

“I bought a cross body duo bag. The leather is lovely and soft, the red is a perfect shade and the service was great. There are two things that would make the bag even better - a single larger slip pocket inside (only a small phone fits) and an internal clip for keys. That would get 5 stars plus. But overall, a really nice handbag and I look forward to buying more!”

The despatch note said to keep it as it was the receipt, but, to return an item which I did, I had to return the dispatch note in the parcel.🤷‍♀️ otherwise a great purchase 😘”

“Pleased with my quilted jacket. Nicely made, and stylish. However - should have checked that XL is the equivalent of a size 16. I am big busted so it's a little snug up top. I'm keeping it but won't be zipping it up! Also, when confirming orders, it would be good to show a picture of what's been ordered and details rather than just confirming an order has been name!”

Hello, Firstly, it's good you like the bag... A little bit of confusion regarding the returns; all orders can be returned in store, or by post. If you paid by PayPal, we cannot issue a refund in store. The order can be taken into store, and they will then ask our Customer Care team to issue the refund. This is usually done on the same day, unless returned on a weekend, in which case it will be refunded on the Monday. I hope this clears everything up. Thanks
