“I ordered the Suri Safari Jacket. Unfortunately this came up very large and had to be returned. The jacket itself was just like the picture and was well made.”

“Jacket very similar to my old one which is exactly what I wanted. Quality of the leather/sheep skin was good. Fit was as per size. Colour also as per pics. delivery in good time by DPD who are a good choice. Wht not 5 stars? because after spending £550 you did not include any detailed cleaning/upkeep instructions and no Lakeland cleaner. This I had to buy Plus postage costs at £10 a time. You could have got my name on your records correct rather than "" !”

“I bought my new Leather Jacket Nappa online as not in stock in store, fit is perfect, its the after sales where the problem was, it stated to treat the item, that's fine but not mentioned online or when I visited the store, wanted the Jacket to perform to its best, we received leaflet that said the product bought will come with free lint cloth apparently I was sent the wrong leaflet as no cloth provided, but please be aware, the products you need after buying are a better price on Amazon.”

“I bought a "Rydalwater" leather coat just over a year ago and I really like it. The leather is good quality and the coat is really warm and it looks good. However, something to beware of is that the collar is stiffened with wire. I didn't know that until it broke through the leather and stitching and cut me! Just be careful. This one bites!”

“When I contacted customer services by email the response was quick and positive, I feel confident shopping at Lakeland Leather, online or in store. The products are very good, uptodate styles, well made and never had a problem washing anything always stays in shape. Prices are a little higher than I would like to pay but I would rather pay than the quality go down. Stay in the Beverley store are polite and friendly and willing to help and advise.”

“The quality, style and comfortability of the coat cannot be matched. The chest (I’m 39 inches) and length fit perfect but, for some reason, the arms were too long and came over my hands which required me to take it to a dedicated leather tailor to have them altered, and for a pretty penny at that. Please don’t be put off from purchasing the coat as I am very happy with my purchase, but beware of the sleeve length, as this took me by surprise. Photos attached are pre-alteration, with the cuffs rolled up.”

“I have several handbags from Lakeland Leather along with jackets and other items. All great things and terrific value for money. The last thing I purchased was a small purse for a smaller handbag I sometimes use, however I had to return it as there was nowhere to store paper money. Shame.”

“Nice website. Full-colour pictures of the jackets and models wearing them so you know what they look like. Speedy delivery of the jacket and very well boxed. I had previously tried this jacket on at a shop in Beverley 40 miles from me so I knew the size that I needed, I couldn't get to the shop when the 20% offer was on so I bought it online. This jacket should have been a size 46 but it was so small I could only just get it on. I managed to get to Beverley 5 days later to try to exchange the jacket and they couldn't have been more helpful and friendly. I found a size 46 that was the perfect fit but I also tried a size 44 which was good but I wanted a bit more room to wear a sweater under the jacket. The size 44 was still bigger than the 46 I was sent. Buying online is convenient but trying and buying in a shop is better. Some clothes are a better fit than others even if they are labelled the same size.”

“The bag I ordered for my wife was discounted from it's usual price of well over a hundred pounds to a more manageable seventy-ish pounds. Nevertheless, the quality was top level and it was delivered by Royal Mail in good time. Would recommend.”
