“I purchased the Allerdale Leather Cross Body Bag in Brown as a gift. As always with Lakeland Leather, it is lovely quality and a practical design. I ordered for click and collect and was pleasantly surprised to receive a call the very next day to say I could collect. The colour is a little darker than the pictures on the website which is the only reason it's a 4 star review and not 5.”

“You phone them; they answer. You phone them after encountering a problem while ordering online and the same person who answers the phone can see what your order was and can actually try to help. Unheard of! Prompt despatch from online sales. There was a minor flaw in the leather finish of a product ordered online, to which a touch up attempt had been made. I would not have accepted the product in a shop, but easily disguised it.”

“Very happy with the coat. Superb quality, numerous pockets, warm and feels durable. A coat I can see keeping for many years. I bought a size 38 (labelled as small). I’m usually a medium in coats and jackets but a 38/40 inch chest in suit jackets, so I went with the latter and I’m glad I did, it fit perfectly! I might add: the right outside pocket with flap, the inside has accidentally been stitched to the underlying pocket slightly. I’ve experienced this many years ago in another coat I had (not from you). Luckily this is not a pocket I would be resting my hand in as it is quite an irritating mistake in a main hand pocket. I’d perhaps suggest to be a little more mindful this doesn’t happen in any future coats and jackets you make. Nonetheless a great coat and I look forward to giving it a proper wearing during the colder months.”

“I prefer to order via a voice rather than through a website so I rang to place my order of two phone bags. First time I rang I was told I would have to ring back because the sales team were on a training day. I rang back the next day and was able to place my order successfully. Sadly I wanted one in a laser colour and one in navy but those two colours were not available at the sale price so I had to have one amethyst and one black. Not ideal but worth the sale price. Would have preferred not to have black but the bags are for my grandchildren who are sisters so I didn't want two of the same colour. My order was courteously taken and expedited. Thank you.”

“Lovely mittens, arrived in good time. Not used them yet as they are for winter dog walks but look and feel cosy. My only issue is that one of the openings is sewn very tight and I struggle to get my hand through, the other mitten is fine. Hoping it will stretch with use!”

“I've had approx 4 purses from Lakeland leather, all the same design & not dissimilar to the purse I've just bought. however, previous purses have been a bit shorter, softer & had a zipped section between the section for coins & were priced under £25. this time I did not find anything that resembled past purchases which did not amuse. if the style of purse I've had numerous times before has been discontinued then the next time I need to replace my purse I won't even consider an alternative from Lakeland leather & will spend money elsewhere”
