“Really pleased with the sheepskin slippers I bought recently, which are as cosy as I'd hoped for. The only disappointment (and it was a significant one) was finding they were made in China. I believed I was buying a British product made in the Lake District and there is nothing in the product details on the website to indicate otherwise. In truth, I would have made the purchase from the other company I looked at, given that it makes its products in Somerset. I hope Lakeland have a rethink. I feel sure many other customers might share my thoughts on this point.”

“It's a Christmas gift. I've only briefly looked at it, but it looks fine. Now- I have thought this before about companies- reviews should be asked for a while after the item has been used. There's no way to really effectively review something until it's been tried and tested. But as I say- looks nice so far.”

“Lakeland Leather is great and the products are good quality. I love them. However, their delivery company sent my parcel back and forth from Hinckley to Aldridge 6 times. Even when it reached Birmingham it was there 3 days before being dropped at the DPD Pick-up shop. I know they are busy but why send it back and forth at all?”

“A lovely little cross body bag. It could do with a slightly wider gusset at the bottom to give just a little more room. Then I would give it 5 stars. The leather is a really good quality and the colour is gorgeous- I bought the maroon colour.”

“Product excellent. Not so the woman I telephoned to arrange an exchange as instructed on the back of the Delivery Note! I was assured a replacement would be reserved for me but instead a refund was issued. Luckily, after emailing, one was put aside for me while I reordered.”

“The website is easy to use, the order process is simple and delivery was on time and quick. My problem was with returning a product, which, although of excellent quality. was too small I will use Lakeland Leather again. Note that, when you return a parcel for the reasons above, you are responsible for the cost. There is no refund.”

“The ordering and process of delivery were well organised and clear. The glasses cases are made of soft, good quality leather and the colour (teal) is very attractive. My only criticism is that the glasses, particularly my sunglasses, just about fit into the double case.”
