“Ordered ladies leather gloves and the right one was very tight to get on, but I thought it would stretch as they were leather. Three weeks later I was fed up struggling with it and then discovered that the top of right glove was smaller than left. Called the number on my invoice and a most unhelpful lady answered. Told me I couldn’t return them because they’d been worn. I mentioned the difference in size and that it was obviously a fault. She said I could try returning them to customer services but mentioned again that I’d worn them. I sent them recorded delivery and 2 days later I received an email advising me that my postage had been reimbursed and they a new pair of gloves were being dispatched. Thank you customer services. Score would have been higher if person answering the phone had been a little bit more helpful.”

“The jacket itself is first class, very high quality and fits very well. However, the couriers' service left a LOT to be desired - it took 3 attempts to get the goods delivered and their service in sorting it out was abysmal. Lakeland did try to help but with little result. It was a great shame as the courier experience rather detracted from what was, otherwise, a great product.”

“Fabulous tote bag bought recently to add to my other Lakeland bag and leather gilet! Love the quality and price. Shopped in store and was a bit disappointed with customer service - assistants chatting amongst themselves but that will not deter me from further purchases there. I have also bought 2 pairs of Robell trousers in the store so a regular visit for me is a must. My friend also has a flying jacket that he loves.”

“Unfortunately, the goods were not suitable but Lakeland's return and refund process was very efficient which is so important for customer confidence when online shopping. A returns paid label would have been appreciated though.”

“I bought a pair of sheepskin mittens online for my wife for her birthday. She was pleased but less pleased when the right glove didn't fit, it was too small. Also, the end of the glove was very thin leading to the fear that it would hole very easily. It happened that on her birthday we were in Keswick and called at your shop. A most helpful lady assistant agreed (she couldn't get the glove on either) with our issues and exchanged the gloves for another pair. Good service in the end. “Lovely wallet, bought as a christmas present. Delighted with the item but unfortunately it arrived in an envelope with a big hole in it so it wasn't a surprise for the person I bought it for! Very happy with the item but packaging needs to be improved!”
