“The gillet I ordered was lovely, beautiful leather and top quality product. However it was too small. I went on the measurements provided on the website and from them I am an exact size 10 but when the item arrived, it was too small. I was miffed by this as I had used their guidance notes for ordering the product but also miffed that it cost me £11 in postage to send it back. Bearing this in mind I will have to think twice before ordering again.”

Dear Miss Keenor, Thank you for your review. We are sorry to hear that the gilet was too small for you. As specified on the website the sizes are a guide and it does vary from style to style. We do offer you the option to return an item to one of our stores for free, however I can see that you are not near one so the only option was for you to post it. We do recommend using a signed for service to return something, however it is your choice as to the courier you use to return it and there may have been another option such as recorded delivery, hermes, etc. that may have been cheaper. Unfortunately as we are a small company we are unable to offer a free returns service although it is something we are looking into and hope to be able to in the future. “Overall service was good. The only major problem was that I picked a local store for item to be delivered to for my collection,and they delivered it to my home address!!! Have now done this twice!!! It was very lucky that someone was at home,and this was only due to someone being off work because of an illness!!! The rest of the service is okay,but will probably think twice before I buy online again!!!”

We have looked into both your orders and can see from the first one we sent this to our Gretna store for you to collect, although it sounds like you have a different recollection of this. The order you just placed had your home address for both billing and delivery (which you should hopefully be able to see from your email order confirmation), so this is why it was delivered to your address. “My husband and I have several of your jackets and I love some of your handbags but could you make the handles, especially on the shoulder bags a little wider I and a few friends think the skinny handles make the bags look cheap so we avoid buying these bags. Your purses and make-up bags make super gifts as do your wallets for male friends and my friends all love them. The nubuck leather wallets have been I big hit with male friends. one complaint could you not make more dressy handbags at reasonable prices, your handbags are super and hard wearing but now and again I go somewhere that I need to be a little more dressy and a dressy handbag is needed. Keep up the good work.”
