“The products are absolutely amazing, nice website, good delivery. I love my 'Ross' Nappa leather jacket, however I was quite annoyed the protection cream wasn't included, but a leaflet saying how I basically need it was. Tell me this BEFORE I checkout and receive it, or include it with my jacket! Hope this helps. -Dan”

Hi Dan, Thanks very much for the message and feedback. I'm sorry it's not clear on the website, but all our jackets are pre-protected before they are dispatched for our web orders. So the Ross is ready to wear as soon as you receive it. We are looking to make a few changes to the product pages, so will bear this is mind. Kind Regards Paul

“I was happy with the service I received throughout the ordering an delivery processes but when I attempted to reply to an email I received from your organisation it would appear to have been lost somewhere in cyberspace. The issue I wished to raise was in connection with the price ticket in the new leather jacket I ordered, it stated the selling price as being £199 reduced from £329 yet I paid £229 and I was asking for an explanation for this anomaly. None was received and I would have marked your service as being very good had you obliged me with the reasons for this price difference.”

“Lakeland leather offered a fast service. However I had been sent the wrong size on my order. I phoned the shop and was told to send it back, and as a result I had to pay again to return the garment, so by the time I had finished l may as well have paid full price. I felt a little disappointed as I am a regular customers. However, today I received a cheque from Lakeland leathers refunding my postage cost. I think this is a satisfactory result. Thank you.”

“I loved my bag !! My only criticism is the colour was nothing like your picture. To be fair you do describe it as 'Navy' but it looked bright blue, which I loved. However I decided I didn't want to be seen from a far distance and am happy. Well done. Purse was a bit small but that was my fault for not double checking.”

“Ordered three items from them which were delivered promptly and well packed. Ordered a nice nubuck jacket reduced by £100 pounds, fit size was spot on so happy with that. The next item was a pair of sheepskin earmuffs, again very happy with this reduced item. The third item was a tunic top and the fit was okay but the neckline was really gaping so I had to return it for a credit. This is the only thing I found fault with as they do not give you a postage paid label to use so as stated you have to send any item back signed for, this is what the company states. Even sending second class signed for was nearly £3 which was nearly a quarter of the value of the returned item. I would not have thought that buying items worth nearly £200 would have not including a prepaid label. Despite this the overall service and product was good.”
