About KNOOPS:

Jens Knoop has had a strong relationship with chocolate since his childhood in rural Germany. In 2013, he decided to share his passion and opened the first Knoops store in Rye, East Sussex. Today, our expertly crafted chocolate drinks and coffee can either be prepared by one of our Knoopologists in store, or created by our customers themselves at home.

We are experts in the craft of creating the perfect drinking chocolate - a process we call 'Knoopology'. The Knoops concept is based around our carefully curated percentage menu, which offers a wide range of chocolates to suit all tastes. Our real chocolate flakes can be used with one of our hand-picked hot chocolate makers to create the unique Knoops experience at home.

“The perfect gift. My life changed when I went to Rye with my boyfriend for two days. I was blessed with a KNOOPS hot chocolate. Obsessed ever since. I love the quality of the chocolate, and I was very surprised to see how good the coffee was, too. Perfect Christmas present for my partner who is as obsessed as I am. I want to try every single chocolate option. It is pricier than normal hot chocolate, but what you get really isn’t just a normal drink.”

“On a visit to Rye last summer, I discovered the Knoops store and purchased the most amazing chocolate & orange milkshake. When purchasing Christmas gifts I had a look on the website and decided to buy some chocolate flakes as gifts for others and a treat for myself. They make the best hot chocolate, and the Festive Spice mix is a great addition.”

“Knoops makes lovely hot chocolate but don’t be fooled by their ‘Dark’ hot chocolates. They just get more sweeter but not darker. I got the 52% thinking it would be a dark, healthier option but it was so sweet I couldn’t finish it. 37%, 36%, and 39% are probably what you are looking for.”

“Fantastic products, my wife loved them! Handy video with the chocolate shaker too, which can make hot and cold drinks, depending on your desired method. We drank the hot chocolate way too quick! As we found we needed to put more scoops in than was recommended on the label. But we’ll be back for more soon, as it was absolutely delicious. All the packaging is sustainable too, and the design is all beautiful. These retail products are as carefully thought-through and feels (almost) as magical as visiting a Knoops in person. Thank you Jens and team for such a wonderful experience, every single time we visit or buy something from you. The shopping experience was flawless.”

“I would of given the item a 5 star review .but the whisk magnetic at the bottom some times gets stuck and makes a noise and switches off . Once it's corrected intakes the most delicious hot chocolates ever . Simply the best 👌”
