“We are super pleased with our smart heritage windows and Aluco doors. Professional service throughout. Phil, Riley and Will were amazing fitters and made a great finish very minimum touching up inside and cleaned all the brickwork on the outside for that professional look. Thank you Kettell windows.”

“The work was conducted carefully, and the results were excellent. Not only was the job done to excellent standards, the workmen were co-operative, and took care not to create any more disturbance than necessary.”

“From our first visit to the showroom, the service was lovely: Lisa and John are both friendly, helpful and never pushy. Communication was great throughout, with clear updates at every stage, so we always knew what was happening. The installation itself was fantastic: neat, professional and although tricky for Will on the day itself, Will was superb. The first door was slightly damaged and was swapped out without hesitation. Our composite door looks superb and feels really solid. We couldn't be happier, and I'd recommend Lisa and John at Kettell Windows without hesitation 5 stars. So much so I will be bringing my mum to buy her back door! Thank you”

Hi Karen, thank you so much for your lovely review! We’re delighted Lisa and John made choosing easy, and that the updates kept you in the loop. I’ll make sure Will hears your kind words, as the install day wasn’t the easiest, and we’re glad the door swap was quick and painless. Most of all, we’re thrilled you love your new composite door. We’d love to help you're mum, so do pop in together whenever suits! Thank you for choosing us. Holly

“Good quality products. I've had two installations from.Kettell. The first went off without a hitch. The admin on the second installation wasn't handled well. There were difficulties organising the installation date and I had to chase them up to get the FENSA certificate afterwards.”

I'm really sorry your second experience with us didn't match your first. I tried to call to apologise personally, and I'd still love to chat, so please do give the office a ring whenever suits. This summer was a tough one. Our office manager and office apprentice both moved on to new roles at the same time. The temporary cover we brought in did their best, but they didn't have the knowledge you'd expect from us, and there simply weren't enough hours in the day. I'm pleased to say we're now fully back on track. Timea has joined us as our full-time office manager, our previous office manager has stayed on as our bookkeeper, and we've welcomed a new marketing and sales support apprentice. We've also found ways to make our process smoother, but we'll never lose the personal touch. You'll always get a call to book your survey and installation, and a follow-up call once the work is done. I hope you'll give us the chance to look after you again. We genuinely strive to do our best every single day. Many thanks, Lisa Kettell - Director

“We were a little disappointed with our experience, sadly. We were told we needed a showroom appointment and had expected information, guidance, even recommendations on our visit. We arrived on time and it was busy, so we had to wait quite a while (which I completely understand when short staffed) but when we did finally speak to someone it felt we were given quite short shrift, despite bringing photos and details etc with us. The people before us seemed to get a very different service and lots of technical spec info and advice. We had travelled 45 minutes to get there! The quotation process was long and the promised delivery of the quote came and went. It took close to 2 weeks to finally get a quote, where other companies turned quotes around within 5 days. All in all, we felt that our custom wasn’t really of interest, which is a shame, with a requirement for 16-18 mid range timber look windows and a reasonable budget. The quote we did receive was significantly higher (+30%) than the other two companies we talked to.”

We are sorry to read this review, as it really isnt a true reflection of the effort and time put into the quoting process. On the day of your showroom visit it was particularly busy, so sadly there was a wait. You were comparing it to another Timber Alternative range that we did not stock, and to another range that, ideally, due to the complexity and the size of the install, required a home visit. The notes then state that you didn't have time for a home visit, but requested a remote quote. This is much more challenging and time consuming, and for many of our premium products requires the quotes to be sent away, reviewed and then collated into a quote. This all takes time to get right, and so isnt something we will rush. Often customers have waited years to decide the change their windows and doors, so a couple of weeks for a quote is more than acceptable. Our pricing is competitive and reflects the level of expertise and skill we have across our team. The products and companies we were compared to, in our opinion are not the same. Sometimes though, we just aren't the right fit, and it seems to be the case here. We thank you wholeheartedly for your feedback and will work harder on ensuring we can convey our products, service and offering better moving forward. We wish you well with your installation.

“I had no previous knowledge of Kettell, but We went to the showroom and met Ben, he was very knowledgable and respectful as to our wishes, we went away and thought about what to to do, We returned with more questions and ideas, all of which were answered by Ben. We decided to get 3 other companies to quote and Kettell were very competitive. We proceeded with a comp door and a kitchen door. Mr Kettell came and carried out the survey and measuring up, a fast and efficiceint procees. The installation date was brought forward and Jack and Mario (the installation team) arrived on time and did an excellent job in preparation, installation and tidying up, using very high quality sealant, tools and accessories. They were young, very experienced, had a passion for doing a high quality job. We had no tidying up to do after they went. I would definitely use Kettell again, they are a credit to their industry.”

“We’re absolutely delighted with our new front door. The end to end experience was faultless. From being helped and having our questions answered in the showroom, being given a quote and all the info we asked for without feeling pressured, through to the installation being stress free. We’re delighted with the look and quality of the door and also the installation. Our fitter was also incredibly helpful answering all our questions. We’d shopped around and got other designs and quotes we weren’t satisfied with before trying Kettell and are delighted we found them. Would definitely recommend.”

“Kettell is a friendly local company which produces good quality products. The two window fitters were highly skilled and experienced. They worked hard for four days on the installation of a front door and 8 windows including a very large bow window. Their meticulous planning ensured that they finished promptly to the promised deadline. Both fitters were well-mannered and polite.”
