“Kettell Windows asked me to take photographs of the dirty bathroom window left by the fitter and I simply asked why they couldn't take my word for it. I then received an extraordinary email accusing me of "air on being threatening and abusive" Followed by "Please be respectful to any Kettell members that call" I did take the pictures they asked for but you couldn't see the dirt on the outside of the window because of the heavily patterened glass. Also, when I mentioned the further complaint that our bathroom floor had been left in a filthy state because they'd failed to cover the floor with a protective cover they blamed the poor young apprentice who was under the supervision of the fitter. I suggested an apology might be appropriate for the inconvenience caused to us but this was refused. If you claim to have high standards. These standards should be maintained when customers have genuine reasons to complain, especially when they've always been polite and respectful in all their conversations. I do not expect to be wrongly accused of abuse when this was totally unfounded and untrue.”

No company likes to receive a bad review, none more so than the team involved in this install who share a very different experience to what has been depicted here. However, all feedback helps us strive to be better, & as a result we have now re-introduced our customer satisfaction sign off sheet at install completion (removed during covid to reduce interactions) so that customers have the opportunity to inspect our works prior to us leaving & document any concerns. We also do take final install images but will now take images of the whole area in which we have worked for reference & to allow inspection post install. We can confirm we returned in a timely manner to clean the suggested dirt on the external of the window & the team have remained professional & courteous throughout. We also plan to share as part of our aftersales service, the full process with recording a service ticket so all parties are aware in advance of the requirements. This allows us to reduce the number of visits & disruption to our customers. If for any reason the evidence is not possible customers can merely inform us of this inability & we will attend as per our normal process.

“I didn't place an order with Kettell as after popping in to the showroom to look at a door, I was greeted by a lady (who I believe is the owner). Very much git the impression she was only bothered about getting the sale and not helping me. Felt like my questions were not answered properly and I was being told what I wanted to hear. The same questions were answered differently by other installers and they had also advised what I was told was nonsense, therefore glad I dodged kettell”

All feedback is welcome & evaluated. We have contacted the customer to understand further the details, as this is highly irregular feedback for Kettell & is hugely disappointing.
