“The workmen arrived bang on time on the day expected. Their work was very good and cleaned up after the work was finished at the end of the day. Work was carried out professionally by them, the only thing that lets them down is we did not receive an acknowledgement letter of a verbal agreement to start date or a courtesy call a day before to confirm.”

Thank you for the review Rachel. We know bay window removal can look & feel like a scary install but with our experienced team we believe the results are worth it! Great we also had lovely weather for it! The Evolution range you chose, really do provide another take on uPVC and really offer that timber alternative. They do definitely look lovely!

“Lovely showroom with friendly and helpful staff. Not pushy at all. Provided a free quote with specification of door to show how it may look. Communication after accepting the quote could've been a bit better / more frequent. However, couldn't fault anything else. Door was installed roughly two months after accepting the quote. Only took an afternoon to install the door and the chap was very professional. Cleaned up after himself and provided info how to use the door and keys etc.”

“Recommended by a builder, I used Kettell for the first time for windows and doors in a garage build. They were quick to quote and it was competitive. I visited their premises to look at the displays and was satisfied with the quality of workmanship. The fitters came and got on with the job, advising me about various trims and sealants. They spotted a minor manufacturing fault and within two days had sourced a new replacement. Neat and tidy and the fitters enjoyed working for the company, always a good sign. Recommended”

“I have to say that the customer care at Kettell has been top notch. I had some snags with the finish on my ex sash windows (Victorian house walls never seem easy), and a couple of other bits, and Kettell sorted everything out quickly and without quibble. The team that fitted the windows were very polite and helpful too. I trusted the company with a house key and they put down sheets, to try to contain some of the dust (not possible, of course) but I appreciated them trying! They even vacuumed. I would recommend.”

“We are delighted with the installation and the fitters that carried it out. Unfortunately, though we were disappointed that the earlier advice we were given by your surveyor regarding locking the doors in a slightly open condition was not possible. This is important to us as the patio doors are south-west facing and the bedroom gets extremely hot in the summer months. We will now have to try and find a solution to this issue. Otherwise, well done!”

“Generally,we are happy,but I am a but disappointed because with the order no one helped us decide the colour for the frame to the door because it couldve looked better. I think you should help clients with picking the colours or at least give a suggestion.”

Thank you for your feedback. We absolutely will take the comments on board. We always hope that the door designer, showroom samples & swatches are sufficient in showing what a Solidor will look like. But we do agree there is a lot of choice so we can definitely look at sharing more of the options with customers of the future. Lisa Kettell

“In general everything was okay but because we were a commercial property there seemed to be a little of a lack of care and attention when old windows were removed and new ones fitted. Satisfied with the work”

“Extremley pleased with the Front and Back Doors (Solidor & Residor) Top Product well installed. Very pleased with with look and finish of the Windows. However the installation of the Windows programmed in for three days, Kettle Windows turned up on mass without warning and completed All Windows in the house at the same time (Very stressfull and unfortunately this meant that different Windows finished differently, not to the same standard as other fitters - Although over all pleased with result). Had a couple of blemishes on two of the Windows and expertly repaired at second attempt. Thanks Kettle Windows.”

Thank you for your feedback. We will certainly take on board a better level of communication if we change the install times to a customers schedule. I suspect we had the option to complete this quicker than scheduled & this is mostly preferable from customers as it reduces time in home & disruption, apologies if this wasn't the case for yourselves. All of our fitters would normally finish internally & externally the same. Sometimes what we are removing can affect this, e.g. the size of finishing trim used, however if you do feel that there are discrepancies you are not happy with then please get in touch with the Kettell team with some images & we can certainly visit you & take a look once we are all back up and running.
