The properties that are available are excellent however I think the staff could be more knowledgeable about the individual properties. I also think the customer service from kate & tom's could be better. This is a premium/luxury service and as such the service should reflect this. As an example, I received an email on Thursday asking if there was anything needed before the stay. I responded asking about pool towels but received no response. I would book again through kate & tom's but it would be good to see service improve. On the Tythe Barn: We were not greeted on arrival at the property and it took some time to get in. Our POC (Vickie?) was not particularly helpful either. We were offered a late check-out on Monday to compensate for the issue. The house itself was amazing - great place for family and lots to do inside when its raining. It's in a lovely spot too and we went for a walk from the doorstep which was perfect. I would 100% recommend the property and I would return. Couple of minor points; - There was no chalk for the pool cues - The duvets provided were too warm for the time of year. It would be ideal if you could have a sheet below the duvet as an alternative.

I am sorry to hear about the trouble you had on arrival, I will be sure to follow up with the House Manager on this to see what happened. Very helpful with bookings, letters, housekeeper contact. But it was very difficult to pay by PayPal/credit card Also the info booklet needs updating. We also expected a full range of toiletries, tissues, and sufficient public hand towels in addition to private towels in rooms. We didn't have enough towels to have dry clean towels in the kitchen and main toilet. ( we did all bring swimming towels as advised)

Hello, Thank you for your feedback, we are currently looking at ways to improve the payment method options so I am sorry that this was a struggle. As the house is self catered toiletries other than hand wash are not provided but there should be plenty of towels so we will look into this to ensure that doesn't happen moving forward! After a booking issue your service was great. The information bumf was detailed and useful. I haven't booked through Kate and Tom's before but you will be my first port of call in the future and I mean that! We are looking for another time already.

A little difficult to get correspondence from initially as the person we were given as a contact left but all in all we have had a great experience and have recommended you to lots of people!

Once I had chosen the house, K & T were quite good at communicating however trying to get information and recommendations of properties prior to booking was rather frustrating as the girl I spoke to I had to chase twice over a few weeks to actually send over the information.

House was lovely and great for our large party. Kitchen well equipped. But website inaccurate- no games room, no BBQ which really messed up our eating plans.

We loved the location and the house. Only negative for us was there was no gas for the bbq and no firefighters for log burner (as stated). Other than that a brilliant time with lots of memory making. 🙂

The Lindens is the perfect house for a large informal family party with children of all ages. The extensive garden with tennis court, trampoline, games room and perfect pool meant it was often difficult to prise people away to visit the neighbouring beaches or the castle. The house is huge and well equipped. We should however note a few points of detail. The pool floor was very dusty on arrival. There was a large glass on the wall by the life belt. It was not locked on arrival and after it was cleaned on Monday morning the lock was not put back on. The lock is hard to use. The storage area was unswept. There were large brambles sticking out behind the cover roller. The end of the pool cover is torn. There are many brambles at head and body height coming out of the hedge on the path to the side bin gates and games room above the back terrace making it hard to walk along and potentially harmful for children. . The manual refers on page 3 to a Nick Northover. He did not appear. We were given a contact number for Brett who was unavailable on our arrival as he apparently chose that time to be on the wrong side of the tide in Poole harbour. Mobile reception proved poor so it was annoying that nowhere were we told to dial 9 to get an outside line for the land line. The cot and extra child's bed we asked for were not in place on arrival, when delivered did not have a bottom sheet and eventually a duvet cover was provided for this. . We could find no sun shades for the terrace tables. There were many dead light bulbs and a loose fitting in the shelf lights in sitting room. There should be hooks or wedges to keep terrace doors from slamming shut in the wind. The kitchen table finish is sticky. A new non-stick saucepan is required. One of the WCs on the ground floor has no lock. We could find no instructions on disposing of rubbish. A second bin in the house for recycling would be useful. There are no instructions as to how to use the TV, essential given that the sky box needs rebooting and is located in a corridor cupboard. The only person to appear in the morning before our departure was the window cleaner.

Kate and Tom's provided us with access to this great property and were very efficient in arranging our stay and were very prompt in returning our security deposit without having to chase for it.
