They keep asking the proof of fund everytime i send my money to my own Philippine bank acct. not knowing that can have access on my bank account information. Not cool

2 HOURS AND STILL THEY HAVENT RECEIVE THE MONEY AND ITS MEDICAL SUPPORT VERY INCONSISTENT.

The Problem with Kabayan is that they use Metrobank who on occasions will hold a transaction for verification even though you have sent successfully to that recipient many times with kabayan before. Then they delay dealing with it for many days. Kabayan are helpless in the fac eof this and get nowhere with their attemots to fix the problem.

Terrible! They are asking for ridiculous and odd documents like investment for remitting large amount of money. They are making things complicated. Definitely no common sense

I just sent money 2 times in a week and then you guys keep on asking for ridiculous amount of documents. It’s my hard earned money after all. You should not insist on investigating about my savings! You’re company is all about sending money and remittances. I don’t think going through the reasons for my remittance should be within your scope. It’s completely going through my boundaries and privacy

Hi Christina, we'll always do our best to deliver your money to your loved ones as quickly as possible. Transfers below Php 50,000 are usually delivered within an hour. However, larger transfers take longer; sometimes we need to conduct additional checks, or banks may take longer to process. Inconvenience, Lack of Information, Lack of communication, everytime delayed, No actions from the higher management. I will not recommend this remittance center to the others. I send money to the philippines, its been 2 days delayed, no information that their partner Metrobank was down.

Every time i have an emergency and the only remittance na meron sa area namin is Palawan but then di talaga nakukuha kaagad ang pera. It says in the system na pwd na makuha but then pagkukunin na sa Palawan wla pa daw ang pera. If i have another choice I don’t want to send money thru palawan pick up.

I had my SSS remittance thru kabayam remit, but unfortunately, after a month or 2, still the payment is not credited.to my SSS account. Already ask my rep. In PH to check and unfortunately still not reflecting on my account and ask for the evidence.or proof.of payment woth Kabayan remit, but up to now, no answer and non resolve

I have sent a money to my brother for Birthday of his son. Upon claiming the teller said that there’s none, though I received the notice that the amount has been paid and ready to be claimed. It was so frustrating as he was not able to buy a cake. When I CALLED to check the Kabayan employee said that it has something to do with the back the metro bank and RBC, the sender and the recipient has nothing to do with that as long as he presented the confirmation or reference number , which is the primary key to search and pull out the transaction.

Please note that as a Money Service Business (MSB) regulated by the Financial Transactions and Reports Analysis Centre of Canada (FINTRAC), we are legally required to check our customers' documents from time to time, especially when sending large amounts. It is also indispensable to understand where customers have obtained the money, they are using to carry out transactions. It is an integral part of the Know Your Customer (KYC) process and vital to AML/CFT compliance. In addition to establishing the source of funds, as part of Enhanced Due Diligence (EDD), were also required to take adequate measures to establish the source of clients' wealth. Worse experience ever. Etransfered money. They sent it to the wrong bank, then they credited to the wrong person at the right bank. Supposed to be convenient as it’s online. Their customer service is through Facebook messenger and it takes 30-45 min to answer each question. Will never do business again with this company. I absolutely do not recommend it.

We can confirm receipt of your complaint. We apologize that you had to experience this. We appreciate this opportunity to explain what happened in your transaction. We used Bancnet Instapay to process your transaction, which is a system operated by Banko Sentral ng Pilipinas. That system serves as a bridge for various Philippine banks so your money can be sent faster (it can take as fast as a few minutes). Then the feedback, if the transaction is credited or undelivered (e.g. account number provided does not exist, returned by the bank), will be coming from the recipient bank, which in this case would be BDO. Upon receiving the payment via e-transfer, we process the transaction that you've created online. We initially received a report from BDO stating your transaction has been credited, so we updated your transaction's status on our end likewise. When you told us that it is not yet credited, we made an initial inquiry to the bank but we were advised it was credited. We insisted that it was not and asked for Proof of Deposit. When we received the result of the investigation from the bank, we were advised by the BDO that the funds were for manual deposit and reconciliation on the BDO's end. We hope this gave you a picture of how we coordinate with different parties to process transactions. For this particular case, we heavily relied on your recipient's bank for feedback. We understand that you and your beneficiary did not have a good experience. Our policy prohibits us from giving cash value as compensation so, we would like to offer you a free service fee on your next transaction. This also gives a chance to show that what happened in your transaction is mostly isolated. We will appreciate your understanding and we thank you for your continued use of our service for your remittance needs.

The process of pick up has been so long. In case of emergency this is not good. I did send money around 10AM here in canada and until now in the phils. they cannot claim the money its already 10:31PM. I called the customer service but still they dont have assurance when- they told me to wait and they will inform me by email. Its a waste of time.

Thanks for sharing that, Lorna. Official receipt of the transaction automatically sends to the remitter's email 15 minutes after receiving the Interac payment. Sometimes receipts take longer due to the high volume of transactions that we're receiving, but we're making sure that we're still delivering our promise that funds will be delivered in the PH within 1 hour.
