The 33% increase in price seems hard to justify. As usual covid 19 is blamed for everything. This apart the service was good

New Policy for cruise cover cost twice the price of the original AIG policy purchased as AIG decided not to extend cover for our rearranged cruise dates due to Covid 19. Credit to Just Travel as we were given discounts on our new policy to reduce the greatly increased premium calculated.

With current situation it is understandable that there are going to be difficulties. My holiday has been cancelled and I wish to discuss the options I may have, but with the busy telephone lines and delay in email contact this is likely to take time.

Dear Mr Fidler, Sorry to hear you have not been able to get through to us. You are right in that the current situation is affecting us too, but we are doing all we can to ensure we are processing all requests as quickly as we can. In a lot of circumstances we must speak to insurers in order to process changes/cancellations, and we are happy to do this on your behalf of course. Unfortunately this does take time, given the current situation. The best way would be to use our new online form - we can then take the information and process your request, then get back to you as soon as we possibly can, although please note this may be up to 14 days at the moment. Just Travel dealt with my Travel Insurance quickly and efficiently. However, I am left with a feeling of being ripped off by the industry. Last year I had an Annual Multi trip policy with Winter Sports for £600.00. This year Free Spirit decided they didn't want anyone over 65. I was 70 when I booked last years with them. This year I'm 71. I have known, monitored and treated heart conditions. I've always been active, and my doctors say I am fit and OK to travel and ski. This year a similar policy through Just Travel was quote as £2700! The point I make is that I am at a lower risk than someone who has not had any medical and may carry an unknown medical issues, and I think it is an excuse for the industry to rip off older people who are determined to continue to live a full and active life.

INS INFBZ/JT228058/2020 This review is being sent from Rosemary Knott on behalf of her son Marc Grant as he has cerebral palsy and not able to do so. Although I have taken out the ins with you in the past. I have not done so for myself when I go to Tunisia in DEC 2019 ,because when I went to New York 2019 the ins premium from you was very expensive and found out later I could have purchased it from another company for £50 less . Obtaining my policy by internet was fine but when trying to add my wife by phone who had the same medical problems (plus an honest inclusion of attendance at a hospital (outpatient) to keep good eyesight)) her quote nearly tripled. If I had done this initially, the price that a brash and impatient woman quoted me would have been ignored. To me it was a greedy attempt to increase individual bonuses and I am afraid I wasn't impressed, especially when Travel Cover came back to me with 10% reduction - come on! How can the underwriter justify a person going to an EU country and stung for unrealistic medical expenses?

I only came out of Hospital 3 days before the start of this Holiday.........my wife said we are not going with out taking..........Just Travel Cover......with us. Thank you ..........we had a good time !
