“Had an amazing experience in the Finnieston shop with a lovely lady (that I’ve forgotten her name I’m so sorry!! She is new and English and is maybe the nicest person I’ve ever met!) She was super friendly and encouraging and extremely knowledgeable about the products”

“I've been a fan of the idea of IOLLA since a friend got a pair. As I live in the States, it's been a challenge to get to the shop. When I first visited and tried on nearly every single pair of frames in the shop, I just couldn't make up my mind. The staff kindly let me know they'd be able to ship any frames I wanted for a very reasonable rate. I finally took advantage. The entire experience was pleasant from start to finish.”

“I got my first pair of Iolla Smith glasses a couple of years ago. Of course I had to come back for my new frames. I went with a lighter frame - teal crystal - not my usual look but I love them! I did it online due to Covid-19 and due to already having had my previous measurements, they fit perfectly. Fantastic fit, quality and I'm really happy to be supporting a Scottish business!”

“100% recommend! I have 2 pairs of glasses and a pair of prescription sunglasses, every time I shop with Iolla they are so lovely and eager to help. I had a problem with a wrong prescription from another store so my lenses were the wrong measures, Iolla was more than happy to help refit the lenses and were very reassuring that they would solve the problem for me. I have only had good experiences with their team and all their glasses are super stylish. Thanks!”

“This was my first experience with iolla, after having it recommended to me by a friend. I visited the Argyle Street branch after booking an appointment. The two colleagues (I forget their name) could not have been more helpful. They advised me on styles that suited me and allowed me to try on as many styles as I wanted. This was a very positive and fantastic experience and something very new to me for trying on glasses. This experience compared to the way I was used to, was very different and stood out by miles for multiple good and positive reasons. The showroom looks pleasing to the eye, the scent of the room is neutral yet relaxing. Most importantly the vibe set within the showroom is very relaxing and calming.”
