“Frames are stylish, however stuff sufferings form lack of professionalism. I experienced more care form well-known big brands optical stores. When I visited your store I expected advice and more care about fitting my new glasses. I had a feeling that the stuff member doesn’t care much about my frames or if they fit properly, or if the measurements are taken accurately. Others companies (even if they are more expensive) providing efficient care and professionalism regards the provided service. I afraid I will not back to your place as the first experience is important for many, in my case was more disappointing I afraid. Kind regards Jakub Kurzep”

Hi Jakub, Thank you for taking the time to write this feedback, we take customer feedback very seriously at IOLLA and we are always looking for new ways we can improve our service for our customers. At IOLLA we do adopt a much more relaxed atmosphere and approach to styling glasses compared to traditional opticians, we prefer to let our customers browse casually on their own and then step in to offer advice when they need some help. This being said, professionalism and care should not be compromised. Our staff are all fully trained in dispensing spectacles which fit the face perfectly and we would never let a customer purchase glasses that don’t suit or fit them. All staff processing orders are also fully trained and signed off on taking accurate pupil measurements and why these measurements are so important so we are concerned to hear that this did not come across when you placed your order. We will certainly investigate this with the team in-store. Have you found since receiving the spectacles that these aren’t working perfectly for you in terms of the fit or vision? We would never see a customer stuck with glasses which didn’t make them look and feel great at IOLLA so if this is the case please email us at help@iolla.com or call us on 0330 124 6525 and we can find a solution together. We would also hugely appreciate any more detail you have for us on your experience in our showroom as we will use this for training with our team. Warm regards, Catriona

“I bought varifocals at the end of last year. They were great for distance, but reading was worse than the old pair. I thought this was just something I had to put up with as I got older, but eventually I went in to the branch to see if they could help. They were great! Took it seriously, were committed to solving the problem right from the start, and identified the solution - smaller frames - but didn’t force it on me, which was very nice of them. So now I have the new pair and they are great for distance and reading - no longer have to take them off all the time to peer at text. And it didn’t cost me a penny! I thought that in choosing Iolla you were getting good value and nice frames, but couldn’t expect great performance. Turns out you can expect that too.”

“Shopping at your city center branch was a dream. I would like to be friends with every member of staff I met. I was quite nervous about getting my first pair of glasses. It a pretty awkward thing to try them on, especially alone. But I felt at ease as soon as I came into the store. Each member of staff provided the perfect balance of support and space. I liked so many I couldn't make my mind up and wanted to sleep on it. I didn't feel like anyone was trying to pressure me and that I had to make a choice then and there. I came in the next day and narrowed it down, Megan (I hope I've remembered the right name) was fantastic. She helped me narrow it down and I ended up buying a pair in a color scheme I hadn't tried. I had such a lovely time I was so excited to come back and collect them. They arrived so quickly and I absolutely love them. Not only are they a different style to other glasses I've seen they are such good quality. My partner got their glasses in your Finniestone branch and loves them. I think there's a reason most people I know ware iolla glasses. Can't wait to come back and get some sunglasses. Thank you again for the wonderful experience.”

“Great selection of frames to choose from! Staff very helpfull when you walk in to choose your frames and do not rush when choosing. Picked up frames a week later in a well presented glasses case. All in all a great experience and more than reasonable than the leading brands which rip you off imo.”

“It is a really good experience choosing your glasses from Iolla they have a modern and interesting range it makes you want more than one pair and at their prices you can afford two...... They also take great care with your prescription, and put in place all the care to ensure you can see perfectly and add extras you would be charged for at most other opticians......”
