I didnt like the surprise of being told I had to have flat roof, if any inspected, at the last minute I have been insured with you for 12 years without making a claim andnow think price is expensive. You have so many get out clauses that I wonder if it is worth insuring the property Regards B Williams

Weekend call centre access was not possible. On line account reset was not possible. Received 3 copies of same document in succession, without the minor amendment requested.

(1) Why is rebuilding costs based on £1 million pounds, it will cost only a fraction of this to rebuild in the event of total destruction! Why not offer a sliding scale of rebuilding costs thereby reducing the renewal premium. (2) Why have we been charged a transaction processing charge of £10.55p Perhaps time to consider changing to another insurer. I await your reply with interest.

I found Ben the salesman to be very helpful and cooperative. He spent 40 minutes going through the finer points of the policy and explaining things clearly that needed explanation. Although I feel that the cost of insurance and the Dask combined were rather expensive, I did, at least, feel more relaxed once I had taken the plunge (just knowing that the place was covered in the event of a natural disaster, or fire etc). I feel that Intasure were pressurising the customer in insisting that they would only offer Dask cover if they purchased buildings cover as this naturally did not give me the option to shop around for a more suitable or economical policy. On a final note, being able to insure my Turkish property without speaking Turkish was good, and all the documents are in English.

Generally a very positive experience until I came to pay, - it is still a UK call centre, phone always answered quickly by polite well trained staff who are knowledgeable about the product they are selling and can provide answers to questions. Major gripe this year is the cost of credit, I usually pay monthly but with base rates still at 0.5% how can a finance charge of 15.4% to pay monthly be justified? Even paying by credit card incurred a 2.5% fee, and I was told to pay by debit card or cheque would still cost 2.5% so this is simply a hidden charge. Unfortunately just like the airlines, this does leave a bad taste!

I thought the personnel I spoke to were quite unhelpful and unwilling to make improved prices in comparison to other companies I spoke to. I renewed due to my unorganised life and working away from home had to do it. Hope next year you are more competitive

Policy good and ticks all the boxes but staff not honest with regard to clauses attached. Advised me I would definitely get money back once renovations to property were complete and even quoted me a return figure. Policy schedule says otherwise and confirmed by a phone call. Disappointed as honesty and clarity are to me essential. Listen to the recordings and you will hear that the lady concerned makes NO reference to the charges at the end of the renovation being variable!!
