Pros - they are proactive with phone calls and emails and it should be easy enough to renew/get information and staff have been polite and helpful. Cons - my policy has been put on an "old system" which asks me unnecessary questions (confusing) and cant have any changes made to it without going back to the underwriters, even when the change doesnt require underwriting at all. This has resulted in delays (particularly as one referral was done without the actual information being sent with it) and 7 or 8 phone calls just to get a renewal done. If I had more time I would probably have gone elsewhere as I was very fed up by the end of the process and I will look for alternative quotes before the next renewal.

Even with a reduced premium am still mystified as to how it is so much higher than last year bearing in mind zero inflation.

Overall very good but initial call was stated as needing 5 minutes and 25 minutes later I was still going and had to reschedule for another time. A bit more honesty and transparency up front would have been good

Very disappointed that I was not able to purchase this insurance for my house in France. I need a house insurance that covers animals and in France you can only get animal insurance for dangerous dogs. My dogs aren't on the dangerous list. Therefore I need to know I am covered for any accidents they may case in my public liability insurance.

Your website for renewal did not work. It would not allow me to make a payment with my credit card. I emailed for a call back but nobody rang so I had to ring you to make payment.

I do not have much dealing with Intersure except when I pay for my lodge insurance .i have just paid my one off payment for twelve month so that will be it for another twelve months.untill it is ready to renew again.

The call was not assisted by a poor 'phone connection - almost certainly the fault of my mobile. I had some difficulty in grasping the circumstances in which I would be covered for an accident to a holiday guest - I think I understand it now!

The lady that I talked with from intasure, was very helpful. But the underwriters were not so helpful. I wanted to change my cover for up to 10 people staying instead of the 8 people staying the cover we already had. The conversation bounced backwards and forwards and I never got an answer from them so I went with the original quote and cover and will phone you if I get an enquiry for more than 8 people to stay.

I purchased a lodge that was currently insured with you. I had hoped that the previous policy could be traced to help with submitting details for the new policy, but this was not done, so I had to start the process from scratch. As I am not yet occupying the lodge, this meant that I had to contact the park staff for some of the answers, which added delay. However, I was still able to obtain cover before the old policy expired, so all was well and good.

Two years ago Intasure attempted to raise my insurance premium significantly. However, when I challenged this I was quoted a rather better price for the same insurance, which somewhat reduced my trust in Intasure pricing ethically. I note that the prmium for 2016 has risen almost 4% on the previous year for the same insurance with no obvious explanation. Howard Reading, 31 Denison Road, Hazel Grove, SK7 6HR.

Access to website was described as unsecured so I did not risk it. Took some time for access to be restored. First phone call kept me waiting and then told me office was closed. 2nd call more successful.

Staff on the phone and over email are very helpful and personable. Unfortunately the website is a real let-down - unable to log-in simply and unable to renew my policy online, despite being provided instructions to do so via an automated email.

On this occasion all I wanted to do was give a new credit card number for Intasure to use to take my premium. I could not do this unless I allowed the young lady to go through all the policy with me even though I had already read all this online. I am sure the young lady had no alternative but it was five minutes of my time that I resented having to waste!

finding online items difficult to fulfil such as bank details when trying to set up and now credit agreement won't let me in. very helpful when spoken to on the phone

I was very unhappy that you charged a transaction fee when I paid for my policy with a debit card. You had my money instantly!!! how can you justify charging for receiving it?????? I understand if it was on a credit card or credit but not on a debit card. I thought there were new rules regarding charges I will look into it

More competitive insurance rates should be available from Intasure if rates were based on more property specific details.

Late in receiving quote had already got 5 different company quotes contacted your selfs and was told I would it that day 6days latter it arrived a bit disappointed as I am a loyal customer
