End result seems OK hence good rating - sales process bit manic, more haste less speed would produce a better experience for customers and better results for you.

We were extremely surprised and disappointed to find that, having been a loyal customer for roughly seven years now we were offered a renewal premium which was 34% higher than the premium we paid the previous year. You say that your underwriters have imposed this increase owing to flooding, crime and subsidence. When we have not made any claim it seems totally inequitable that we should be asked to pay such a hefty increase. We have decided to pay the premium on a monthly basis as we are hoping to sell the property this year but we will be seeking other quotations.

To take out Insurance in a foreign country is not always easy. However, Intasure dealt with the issue of insuring our newly acquired house in Lerici professionally. The underwriting was competent and the quotation fair and quite competitive. The room for improvements is in the number of exchanges with quite a few additional requests for information along the way.

We have remained with Intasure as you have not hiked up your premiums year-on-year for no apparent reason. The only time we have claimed on our buildings insurance was at our previous address. Thames Water’s lack of maintenance of main drainage caused rats to break the Victorian interceptor to our house and for rats to gain access to the house! Ugh!! Intasure appointed their own contractor to repair this ... which was done efficiently and extremely well. No quibble, no argument and no further trouble with vermin.

Intasure were very helpful in getting me the type of insurance I required. Only one downside and that was trying to open my portal on iPad. I failed totally to achieve it, not sure if it was me or the site. However I prefer to have my documents through the post and am awaiting there arrival.

On the whole very good efficient service Everything explained well. A lot was covered in a relatively short time. The only slight problem was that the speed of delivery meant that I had to ask for sections to be repeated on several occasions. Maybe go a little slower particularly if client is a little older.

Renewal experience over the phone was very good. Price has risen again this year but not by enough to change insurers yet. Minimum heating winter temperature sensibly reduced to 10c.

Found a while ago that the price rose massively; returned to them a year ago. Hope not to have to use the insurance, obviously. Was pressed for time this year so swallowed the renewal figure but seriously miffed to find a £60 admin fee not included in the headline figures...
