Ordered 3 hikivision camera backplates only 2 arrived promised would be delivered next day on a overnight to be let down with no communication still not been sent out and can’t finish job

I purchased Hikvision junction box which actually did not fit the camera as per Hkvision manual so I decided to return it. I spoke with a lady from Sales team and explained that I wanted to return the item. She said that someone would call me back about that. It never happened. a few days later I decided to remind the sales team about my return request and sent an email about that. No-one replied to me. So I ended up with unwanted and useless item. I can live with that but will never ever take advantage of that seller. They are very unreliable. Will never recommend to anyone. I prefer spending more money with other sellers which are reliable and responsive to their clients.

Hello - it seems you got in touch with us last Monday when we had an incident with multiple staff off. So apologies we are usually better than this and are in the process of Moving to a more efficient system to help deal with the amount of requests in a more efficient manner. Feel free to send it back for a refund although it is also it is the same as a : ds-1280zj-dm21 that all the new turret ip cameras fit onto so it's probably not worth the postage costs back to us if you use them. Your call, just include a note and your order number.

Bought a £1200 Ultra series professional camera from CCTV kits, amongst several thousand pounds worth of other gear. Once up and installed wiper found to be faulty. Was told I had to send it back - which is very difficult for an item this size. Ended up driving it all the way back as was the only safe way. Was told they would look at it in house to see if there was a simple fix, but when i dropped it off said it would be gone for 2 weeks. 6 weeks later and it still isn't back, waiting on parts. This is a professional level, top of the range camera designed for high security areas but this level of support is absolutely appalling. For anyone installing these in places where security uptime is crucial, I would avoid CCTVkits and look for a distributor with a MUCH more professional aftercare service.

Hello Matthew, Yes, unfortunately something had happened with your item somewhere along the line, which we can only apologise for but when buying online you must allow for these things, this can happen with the best of products from time to time. As per our terms and conditions (and general UK terms) - as you contacted us some 6 months after purchasing to notify us of a problem, we can only be expected to have the product back for inspection and repair, especially when it comes to special order larger items such as PTZ cameras where the warranty is for repair, not replace (which is the same via ALL HiLook/Hikvision distributors). While this is usually dealt within a couple of weeks, due to worldwide supply issues outside of our control this did take a little longer than expected to get the replacement part (it is the longest we have had to wait for such a fix, so far thankfully a one off), but we did manage to speed things up a little in the end. With regards to getting the item back to us, it is your responsibility to repackage it appropriately, if it was faulty out of the box as you state, one would assume you would not be so quick to discard the box. While I understand this situation was less than ideal, please understand we have done all we can to get this sorted for you, if the item was sent out from us a few days earlier with an issue and was sat in its box - it would have been a simpler swap. In the future it may be better for yourself to purchase such larger items via an installer to have the luxury of not having to deal with the logistics of such an eventuality yourself. Not recommend for the traders. They use DPD but not allow to choose a delivery options like Deliver to Safe Place, Neighbours, or ParcelShop for collection. I am surprised they deal with traders. First and last experience with cctvkits, shame as well made website.

It seems that they are fraudulent, they did not deliver my order for a while then they justify that the address is not clear and that we could not contact you BLA BLA BLA

Specifically selected next day delivery for before 10.30 within the cut off time and received notification today that my package will arrive between 1515 and 1615. An afternoon set aside to complete a job now completely wasted.

Placed my order on the 22/10/19 for 2 cameras, 6 coax wires and a DVR. DPD confirmation emailed however only part order received (less the 2 cameras). Contacted CCTV Kits whom advised TNT will be delivering cameras later in the day on a separate delivery even though this was never specified by CCTV Kits at the time of order. Consequently my cameras never arrived! No refund offered nor products replaced! Currently having to deal with trading standards and my bank to get my money back. Meanwhile I have been waiting for a call back from the manager Adam Downey for 5 days now.... very disappointing customer service. In a nutshell, would not recommend. PART ORDER MISSING, NO REFUND, NO REPLACEMENT

Danveer, Yes this order was sent out in 2 shipments using 2 different couriers, which is not normally an issue when we need to send from 2 warehouses on occasion. You got in touch on Friday and we needed a few days to get this looked into with TNT, as we would with any claim that a parcel was not received despite having a signature to say otherwise. With regards to trying to speak to Adam Downey (me the Director) you had tried for 3 working days - of which 2 I have been out of the office and the other very busy while this was being looked into. Nothing more I can add while the couriers have been getting back to us with more information, I would only be repeating what my team have told you. You have to be realistic. Once we confirm what has happened with this parcel (if we can) you will be refunded accordingly by the end of the week. Apologies anyhow. Adam.

Had a problem from the start with my DVR, tried calling them many of times to discuss issue, once i rang them and the guy on the phone told me he couldn't deal with me as he needed to catch his bus, promised a call back but still waiting 3 weeks down the line. I would stay very clear away.

I wrote to CCTV Kits a few times to ask for advice in relation to a CCTV camera that failed after being installed and working fine for 6 weeks, no reply from CCTV Kits even when I sent a further copy of the email, obviously once the goods are sold you go to the bottom of the pack, poor after sales experience

I paid for next day delivery, but my order did not arrive. I contacted customer service by telephone and was told that someone would call me back. They failed to call as promised and after sending more than one email I eventually got a response. The items were finally delivered 5 days after I placed the order and customer service could only respond with this message "Sorry for any bother this has caused you" and a promise to credit the fee for next day delivery. No explanation and not the most consumer friendly response to a complaint about poor service.

Customer services are non existent. Buy elsewhere if your not fluent in IP installs as this company won't help you out.
