“Supplied an item I was searching for at a competitive price, but when posted UK Mail failed to even bother to attempt a delivery. When CCTV Kits were made aware of this they delivered the item themselves. Very friendly and helpful, well recommended.”

“I wrote to CCTV Kits a few times to ask for advice in relation to a CCTV camera that failed after being installed and working fine for 6 weeks, no reply from CCTV Kits even when I sent a further copy of the email, obviously once the goods are sold you go to the bottom of the pack, poor after sales experience”

“Easy to use website with good information to allow you to make a good choice of kit. Delivery was quick and items were well packed. Not fitted system yet but I’m sure I will be well satisfied when it’s up and running. I’m reassured by the back up service available if required.”

“I rang CCTV Kits before ordering to discuss my needs. Jamie took the time to offer advice and answer the questions I had. The kit arrived quickly and all went together easily with their plain english instructions. I needed some help with an unusual network configuration and Jamie was again on hand to guide me through things. Excellent.”

“easy website, good kit arrived on time able to select from a good range. would have been nice to pick an 8 output nvr with just 4 cameras, so i could add to it later. more technical info would be good- then i wouldnt have wasted money on a power supply i didnt need have now shopped around and found i could save about £40 and had more flexibility. hence 3 stars.”

Hi Mike, There is an 8 channel NVR upgrade option when ordering this kit? There should also have been a quick start guide in the box stating no stand alone camera power supply is required? We would have been happy to have quickly clarified any of this for you if there was confusion. Kind regards, Adam.

“ordered a complete kit with upgrades. wrong wires delivered. Went to shop to pick up cables but supplied cables need modifying to work. To my mind a kit should not require connectors cutting offf and wires lengthening to work.”

Hi - yes the wrong cables were picked initially apologies and we swapped without bother, but with regards to you having to cut off the one power end of each cable, you had the choice of ready made cable vs non ready made. There is no half way option of 'part ready made'. The power supply you selected is generally for professional installers taking the non ready made option. I guess we can set the kit builder to not allow these options together. First time we have had this to be honest but thank you for the feedback.
