“The course itself is great, it gives all the detail you need in a very straightforward format and prepares you well for the assessment. I only gave it four stars because the quizzes they give you are sometimes quite ambiguous so it's a matter of chance whether you get it right or not. It was also a lot shorter than 120 hours, and I did it slowly, taking notes.”

“Everything was clear, quick and painless. I was able to finish the course in a short amount of time, perhaps a month or so. Personally, I would have appreciated a bit more in the way of language and grammar review, but there is little to complain about here. Moreover, this was a very inexpensive option for receiving TEFL certification, especially for the quality and professionalism exhibited.”

“Some of the Q&A sections were slightly confusing, as more than one option could have been the correct answer despite only being allowed to tick one selection. But that's my only complaint - everything else was really great! Excellent resources, varied teaching methods, interesting articles, good videos and a marvellous overall introduction to TEFL. I honestly feel like I learned a lot, and enjoyed how the focus was also on things like classroom management etc. I would definitely recommend this course to others and am looking forward to expanding my knowledge as I teach! Thanks!”

“I nearly marked very good but the reason I didn't is because sometimes the course wasn't absolutely clear. For those starting this course with no teaching experience whatsoever it can sometimes be quite unclear. This is very rare but can really throw you off when it does happen. For example one question was "what percentage of the lesson should be spoken in English". Spoken by who, the teacher or the student? I think most people would correctly assume the student but even then surely the percentage of English spoken in the lesson would depend on the level they are learning at. Also the course referenced some of the tenses before I had got to the part where you learn about the tenses. It just sort of assumed I would have an understanding of them anyway. Basically I think it could do with being a bit more idiot proof but as I say this was rare, it didn't happen too often. Overall it was definitely a good course, I learnt a lot and found the end of section tests and the other short check tests very helpful indeed. The further reading at the end of each section is a great idea, some of them are very similar and you can sometimes find yourself feeling like you are reading something you have already read but I found most of it very insightful. The customer support line was excellent, anytime I had a query it was answered immediately and efficiently and I would definitely recommend this course to a friend.”

“I loved the layout of the course and it went into a lot of depth, sometimes I felt that the quiz questions mentioned areas that weren't covered in the TEFL however they were mostly 'common sense' questions. I would highly recommend this TEFL.”

“Overall, the course was well-organized with lots of quizzes and tests to keep you focused and help you retain the information. Most of the information was very helpful (even with a few years of experience) and practical. For the money, I can't imagine a better program. I would recommend this.”

“I was hesitant to do online TEFL class because it was very affordable. And not to mention convenience . It sounded like too good to be true, but it is true, I really enjoyed studying and taking tests. It was very organized and ,easy to read and thorough. The tests were great for evaluating your knowledge and I liked that you could go back and review the tests. There were lots of references for resources and websites to refer to. I really feel my dream of traveling and teaching is about to come a reality, it opened new opportunities for me. I highly recommend it for anyone who is on a career change or adventurous and like to travel and be around kids and learn about different cultures. I already mentioned it to lots of my friend. Thank you to all the staff that helped make dreams a reality.”

“Overall I thought the course was very thorough, and covered all the areas needed. There was a logical progression of content, and this was presented in an engaging way. However, I felt some of the questions of the quizzes were slightly ambiguous, which was frustrating as they were therefore more difficult to answer. Also, I found the marking of the quizzes slightly strange and sometimes wrong! Having answered seven questions (for one mark each), the final score was out of eight - very strange! Overall though I was pleased with the content of the course - thank you.”

“At some points the 120 hour course does feel a bit laborious, however, the quizes make it more interesting. The actual final test, I enjoyed the most; figuring out what I would teach the learners as well as organising the activities I for the lesson.”
