“I felt that overall the course was good. Some places could use some improvement from the standpoint of being correct. I found typographical errors in some of the lessons, as well as some of the answers did not correspond to what was taught. Also, the tutors that are assigned... a few only wanted their personal perspective to be followed instead of simply grading the assessment for it's merits. This became evident in the feedback taking a completely different route from the supplied work. It should only have been a critique of the work itself, rather a lesson on what they thought should have been done for the assignment.”

“I did the TEFL course as a spur of the moment decision and I am glad I did. At the moment I am pursuing other avenues of employment but I will always be grateful for the fact that I have obtained the TEFL certificate. The examiners were very helpful in all respects during the course and I thank them for their kind assistance.”

“On the quizzes after each module, it marks all the correct and incorrect ones although does not say which was was correct if i got in correct. Could you please change this, or let me know how to find out the correct answers. Thanks Kiana”

“I recommend the online TEFL course. It has taught me a lot of aspects in classroom management and what to look out for. I like it very much that you can do this course on the internet and whenever you have time.”

“I enjoyed taking the course. I learned a lot. The only issue was paying for the certificate in the end. I wasn't included with the initial payment for the course (which I really think it should be) and my bank wouldn't allow me to make purchases in the UK, so that was an issue. Other than that, the course was interesting.”

“The lessons are good but your system is very tricky. You said the lecture suppose to last for a period of 3 months. After one month you stop lessons to me with no reason. Also you started demanding for more money. That was cheating. In fact you took my money without giving me the services. I connot recommend you to anyone becase you lied to me and ate my money.”

“Good day, Positive - The course content was well presented and a good challenge Negative - The sales consultant never mentioned a cut off date and extra costs incurred to extend - we paid for two full courses at around R8000-00 why should we have to pay more, especially if one was not warned I was told it came with the introduction e.mail which I never received (check mail correspondence) as you were having email problems. I was accused of plagiarism, I then correct the lesson VERY CAREFULLY, but the marker decided that it was still not my work........ this was in my opinion not so. I gave up after this, as this person managed to demotivate me to the point of such frustration. I am 56 years old and this was a tough course - one needs a little boost as well as a double slap on the fingers. Pity that I never completed the course as I was trying my best Kind Regards Barbra Thompson”

“I thought the course was very good and it gave me some great ideas for when I do teach. The only reason I gave a good and not a very good is because I feel that some of the exercises were a little repetitive and I wish there was a module on how to deal with unexpected situations or parents meetings etc”

“It was easy to follow the course online while outside UK.As a non native I take very much pleasure.Yet I am failed to achieve my goal which is to find a job abroad after completing the course.I have applied pretty much for ESL position .but sorry to say that I am not called back. so I think TEFL is useless for non natives like me.”

“Overall I found the course really interesting and very challenging. I think it is very good at teaching people the difficulties associated with TEFL and the language skills needed. However, I don't feel that the course actually prepares you to go abroad and teach English if you don't have any practical experience.”

“I cannot give you a proper feed back as I was not able to finish the course. I did not realise that I had to start the minute I had paid. As it was Christmas time I was somewhat busy! Furthermore, I had also booked a trip in February which made it difficult for me to concentrate on the course. I am sad that I couldn't finish it as I enjoyed it very much and it made me look up my grammar again. I am not a teacher by profession, but as a lay woman I enjoyed it and I liked the links associated with he course.”
