“I'm very pleased with my size 4 coffee filter papers. I get through a lot, and am delighted to be able to buy in decent numbers. I got in a muddle with my order, but a very kind person sorted it out for me very efficiently, and my order arrived promptly. So I'm very happy. A nice company to do business with!”

“The coffee arrived very quickly. Have been getting coffee from HR Higgins for many years before moving to Lavazza Blue coffee pods. However the latter is not as good as it used to be, hence moved back to proper coffee beans. Enjoying the Santiago blend, but will get back to the Creole blend, which has always been my favourite.”

“I don’t live in London. But I’m a regular visitor and whenever I’m there I’ll always pop into H R Higgins to buy some coffee and tea. The goods and the services are always of a very high quality. One small bug bear however - I used to buy the medium roast Bourbon coffee. However, the medium roast has now been mysteriously discontinued- it’s now a dark roast only, and it makes for a much more bitter drink. Sad, but there you go… nothing lasts forever, does it?”

Hi Stuart, Thank you for your feedback, you are quire right, we did used to offer the Brazil Yellow Bourbon, in a medium roast, however the Roaster made the decision to only offer one roast, rather than two, as ultimately, he felt the coffee was at its best, profiled as a darker roast. We believe that this highlights all the hard work that the farmers do without compromise. We roast this Brazil Yellow Bourbon dark to bring out its delectable smoothness and flavours of rich dark chocolate with blackcurrant and plum notes.

“There was missing items from the orders I recieved only 1 galapagos although i ordered 3 items and the delivery company was soo bad aramex the shipment delayed”

“There are some roasting issues like black dark spots on beans. I don't know the reason but could be over-roasting process. When the gas release from beans overtime, dark spots are more visible than first time you open the package. Last couple of my order has the same issue.”
