“If you like a good cup of tea, and I mean a really GOOD cup of tea, you will not be dissapointed with the teas from Higgins - personally their Lapsang souchong and Superior Earl Grey are my go-to teas but they must be in loose tea format - nice big leaves with minimal 'dust' .. in my mind, the key sign of a quality tea. I have tried teas from most leading suppliers but I won't be straying from Higgins now I have found them.”

“Online or in person the service is great and the coffee even better. Online deals are worth waiting for - free delivery with larger orders too. What’s not to like. My favourite coffee - Brazil Yellow Bourbon”

“Amazing tea, this is first time I have tried recommended by one of my friends. It is delightful, smells incredible and most importantly I sleep so well since I have a cup of blue lady tea in the evening. I suffer of menopose very bad, I had insomnia etc...I won't bored you with my symptoms however helped me with insomnia, anxiety, moods, etc...I highly recommended, it is a bit expensive but is worth it.”

“I was given a place at one of your excellent evenings telling the assembled your history and what and why you do it. Much enjoyed and converted from a person who likes a coffee to a more serious coffee drinker! I now have the kit and have started buying my beans from you! Buying the beans worked well ( save that the driver couldn’t find the house.. not any fault of yours) and being much enjoyed. I much liked that there was no hard sell at the evening talk, just the goody bag to allow me to decide in my own time. Excellent. Recommending to all! Malcolm bell”

“Delicious tea. I bought the Lapsang Souchong, the only outlet I can now find this tea. Nicely packed. There was a problem with the condition of the package, by the courier, not Mr Higgins, that was dealt with very quickly and efficiently by Mr Higgins. Such a great company. Thank you.”

“I ordered three different coffees. So far I have tried and enjoyed the Viennese one which was very nice. The reason I wanted this one was because years ago an office I worked in served Viennese with Fig seasoning coffee. I am very much looking forward to tasting the 1942 Blend. With thanks, Alan.”

“To be honest I bought your Viennese coffee because I've bought it before and I needed more in the house. It's one of the best products you do. It's never going to be the only coffee in the cupboard. I like coffee too much for that. But for me it's indispensable. 'Nuff said...”

“I have bought my coffee beas from H. R. Higgins for 24 years or so and am always greeted courteously by the friendly and helpful staff. The variety of coffees that they stock is amazing, but my days of experimenting have now passed and I have settled on Kenya beans.”
