“I guess you get what you pay for. The price was very reasonable but we had to wait over an hour at the bus stop at the airport for our bus to arrive. The pickup for our return was right on time so was perfect in that regard but we then spent nearly an hour on the bus riding round the countryside picking up other passengers. However that was not a problem for us as we were picked up 3? hours before our flight.”
“The taxi booth was easy to find at the airport, unfortunately we had to wait 50 mins for shuttle bus as you share with others who had yet to arrive/pick up bags. 9 seater bus (8 plus driver), which was full, air conditioned so not too hot but had to sit at the very back. Journey time took 90 mins (as advertised), but only dropped at a nearby hotel which was 10 mins walk from the apartment. So total journey 2hrs 30mins (50 min wait, 90 min journey, 10 min walk). We booked a direct taxi for other members of our family that cost 33eur more (75 vs 42), that took 60 mins, in hindsight we should have just done that but if you're on a tight budget then it might be worthwhile, although it might be better to take a bus if that's the case. “From Antalya airport to Sun city hotel Side took more then 2 hours. Because of this we couldn't find any restaurant or shop open and my kids slept first night hungry. We landed there at 10.20pm and reached hotel at 2.00am. On the way back on 29th October to airport again we were late because the tyre of bus was punctured. We have to wait for replacement vehicle. The 2nd driver was very slow. Luckily our flight was delayed so we reached merely on time when the boarding has been started.”
“The bus was on time from airport to tossa de mar and back again,unfortunately the bus was short walk to the bus terminal at the airport,and we were dropped off at tossa main bus station as the bus didn't go to the hotel as we thought,this wasn't explained to us when we booked,only at the airport bus terminal by a lady courier in an orange shirt,we had to take a photo of a map showing us which way we (a family of 4) had to walk with our cases to our hotel which should have been approx 7mins but took us longer as we meandered the streets asking where the GHT costa brava hotel was, also another elderly lady was dropped of the same with no idea where to go!! we now understand Tossa de mar does not allow big coaches into their small streets but this should have been explained at booking,so i hope travellers read this before booking at Tossa de mar as your bus only goes to main bus station and they should prepare a route map to their hotel for when they arrive at the dead of night like us.”
“My taxi didn?t arrive for me at the airport when I arrived in Fuerteventura on Saturday 25/03/23 I was eventually given a voucher and told I could use it for any taxi. Unfortunately many taxis refused to take the voucher and insisted on cash only? meaning I had to keep queuing until someone finally accepted my voucher. Coming back on 05/04/23 the taxi from holiday taxis was very good and I would happily give him a 5 star review as I couldn?t fault his service.”
“We went to Napoli from Madrid, and our arrival was at 22:45. There we were thinking that our driver will be waiting for us? we were expected that our arrival at Sorrento will more or less at 23:30. Not at All !!! I called more than 8 Times at the HolidayTaxis ?s phone. No response ! No one to help us. We discover our driver at least 60? later our landing. He was hiding with other drivers and with our name reversed backwards on a sheet ? Very useful and easy to find, isn?t it ? So I went to him a little bit angry, he doesn?t speak english, his phone was another than the one we had. And suddenly a women came to calm down and said she ?s from TUI society. She tell us that we were waiting for 10? for over people to arrive from another flight. Then the 10? became 40? and in fact we were waiting for people of another flight to fill the taxi? At last we arrived exhausted at 01:15 at our hotel? About 2 hours and a half , very long time? Lies, No real explanation of the situation and no apologies for this desagrement ! Our return from Sorrente to Napoli was better, except that we called 3 times HolidayTaxis before to be sure to be taked at our hotel at the previous time.”
“The service was worth the money, but the comfort on board was variable. 45 minute wait for the minibus to be filled with passengers from different flights. No overhead luggage would fit the shelf provided so small suitcases on our knees. Return coach very punctual with suitcases down below, alas no aircon, so hot 28C ride to the airport with a full bus load of sweating passengers. You get what you pay for I suppose.”
“Excellent service on outward journey. Very comfortable private vehicle. Return journey - we got picked up at hotel by a driver who drove way too fast - 100 mph at times after about an hour or so we were then driven to meet a packed minibus for last 40 mins to airport.”
“Too long (1 hour) on bus before the bus departed. The driver said he had to wait for everyone, on his list, to arrive but couldn't tell us how long that would take. Also there was an issue with some passengers. A girl came in the bus and said the bus would not be leaving until she finds the people she was looking for!! Absolutely unacceptable attitude. It tuned out to be 2 elderly people who, possibly, couldn't hear/understand the girl!”
“The minibus was easy to find coming out of the airport, and arrived exactly at the pick-up time. Staff were friendly and efficient. However, the aircon did not work on one of the journeys, which would have made a big difference as it was a very hot day.”
“On all occasions I have never had one pickup on time. Just left standing without knowing what's going on. Would be nice to be informed. All other companies have name cards!!”
“Driver was on time and friendly but put us under pressure to pay a tip during the journey and when we arrived at the airport. We explained we only have a 50 euro note and would like 40 euros change. When we gave the 50 euros he said only had 20 euros change, so took a 30 euro tip!! As we had a plane to catch we let he matter go but felt a little aggrieved at these tactics. Moral of the story, make sure you have change for any tip you want to give your driver.”
“I have used Holiday Taxis for years, but have noticed recently the try to fit in lots of pickups, which resulted in us being on the coach for over 2 hours.”
“L orario di partenza del nostro volo era 18,20. Il pulmino ? venuto a prenderci alle 12,50. Nel trasferimento abbiamo preso soltanto una altra persona alle 13,10. L autista ha guidato in maniera abbastanza imprudente. Alta velocit? soprattutto nel percorso cittadino. In autostrada spesso oltre i limiti di velocit?. Siamo arrivati in aeroporto alle 14,30 circa 4 ore prima del volo. Decisamente troppo.”
“after changing our drop off and pick up destination prior to going i then had to change it back to the original. I contacted the travel company 48 hours before pick up and explained where i wanted picking up. This was not relayed to the driver who went to our changed pick up. After a few telephone calls it eventually got sorted but didn't need to get that far if the person i had spoke to 48 hours prior had done their job. Otherwise it was a faultless experience and am using you again next weekend”
