“The first taxi journey, from CDG to Hotel Lion D'Or, took well over two hours - on a Sunday!
The driver could not be found at first. I contacted him to find where he was, outside the terminal at 2D rather than 2B - both had a "Brioche Doree" which was given as a guide to location!
Initially the driver took the wrong road from the airport, not heading towards central Paris.
He then had to divert and go back to eventually join the correct route.
Coming into Paris the driver did not know the roads - having driven, walked and travelled frequently in Paris, I was fairly familiar with them and was surprised by the routes he was taking.
We went round and round in circles and passed several buildings again and again.
As we neared the area where the hotel was (a turning off Rue St Honore from one end of the road) he again started going up and down roads and couldn't find the road or the hotel.
(We had 10 other taxis in the 3 days that we were there and all pick ups were waiting outside the hotel and the drivers were easily able to drop us off there, too)
Another problem on that first journey was that the driver was playing loud music full of expletives (f**k, etc) which was inappropriate, particularly when my young granddaughter was in the car.
My rating for that first journey was 3/10
The return journey from the Hotel to the Airport was perfect.
Even in a very busy Paris, during the rush hour, the driver got us to the airport in 55 minutes and was a pleasant, friendly person who knew the road very well and frequently found alternative routes. The driver was a credit to Paris, to France and to your company. Wonderful driver.
My rating for the return journey to the airport was 10/10

“The journey to our hotel was awful the driver stopped for himself twice first time for a drink and sandwich and then 3/4 hour stopped again for a cigarette what should have taken 2 hours took 3 the driver was driving very slow and eractically and texting the whole way, driver on way back was excellent only stopped because he was asked too and was very pleasant and helpful.”

“The pick-up was efficient and I was able to arrange drop-off to a changed location . I did not change the pick up point for my journey back to the airport, as I was planning to spend my last day with friends at their hotel (where I had originally expected to be staying). But the company changed the pick-up point without telling me until the last day. When I called and asked for it to be changed back to the location I’d booked, the Holiday Taxi rep tried to help, but the bus company they use refused. No reason was given. This was very disappointing.”

Thankfully my flight was delayed so it didn't turn into a problem but it was unnerving.
Given, as a customer, you are asked to be at the pick-up point 15 minutes before the specified pick-up time it's annoying.”

“At the turn was great and in time …but at arrival to Tunis we needed to wait 2 hours to get a driver and they let us wait in the burning sun for 45 minute outside the parking in the end get a bus and at drop by the hotel the driver expect to get tips….unbelievable 🤷♂️”
“Had a short wait for the transfer. Staff at the airport desk weren't very professional (scruffy and had a child at the desk with them). The transfer itself turned out to just be a taxi which we could have just got ourselves outside the airport terminal.”
“I have used you before and had really good service hence why I booked again. The transfer from Corfu to Gouvia was fine. However coming back was slightly different. We were told where to go for our pick up from Gouvia to Corfu airport. We arrived at 10.15 am for the 10.30 am pick up and were in the place instructed to go to. The pick up arrived at 11.10. I had to call Lord Travel twice and whilst they were very helpful there was no contact from them to me. There was apparenty a hold up along the way but surely Lord Travel could have phoned or texted me to let me know what was happening. The first time I called them at 10.45 the driver was 10 minutes away, the second time I called them at 11.00 the driver was 10 mins away and he did then turn up. We didint know whether to give up and get a cab or hold on. We were aware of our check in time of 11.30 getting nearer. So a definite lack of communication.”
“The booking procedure is easy, the transfer itself was great, except the driver cursing in Greek. But the service on the phone is awful! Disrespectful, not helpful at all, with a bad attitude, especially when contacting them in English. They literally dropped the phone on me. But when I had someone to call in Greek, it was slightly better - still with an awful attitude though. No politeness at all, I know it is not Holidaytaxis, but Lord Travel who is managing the transfers, but they definitely need to work on their attitude over the phone, and teach the drivers some basic manners.”
