“Good transfer from Faro Airport to Lagos.
Frustrating on the return journey, from Lagos to Faro Airport as the journey took just under 2 hours, due to pick-ups along the way, and we arrived just around 2 hours before the flight. With the big queues at passport control, this gave very little time (around 10 minutes) before boarding”
“Obwohl wir einen !PRIVATEN! Minibus gebucht haben, wurde am Flughafen auf agressive und unfreundliche Art und Weise versucht jeweils mehrere Familien/Gruppen in Sammelbusse zu verfrachten. Sehr gehässige Stimmung mit inkompetenten Personal.
Viele Familien haben, weil müde vom Flug, den Sameltransport akzeptiert - wir nicht.
Wartezeit bis Abfahrt mehr als 1,5h!!!

“Do not use Holiday taxis
We arrived in Palma airport, where it’s commonly known that getting through passport control is a nightmare at the moment.
The taxi waited the hour as it states on the booking confirmation. We were a lot longer.
I called to see if they would wait as we had 4 children with us. They had already left and wouldn’t come back. They wouldn’t do anything to help us at all.
I have written to ask for a refund as a gesture of good will but they have refused. I do appreciate that they have fulfilled their obligation but at the moment there should be some leeway as there was nothing that we could do to get through quicker and they are aware that people won’t get through in an hour.
We did manage to get a taxi from the airport but this cost another 90 euros on top.
I am really upset that they left us stranded at the airport with 4 children, refused to help and now we are over £200 out of pocket.
They did fulfill our return journey and I couldn’t fault them for this.
But o definitely WILL NOT be using them again!!”

1) When me and my wife arrived in FARO AIRPORT on March 20, the driver was not there and following your procedure, connecting to the indicated website (checkpickup.com) was just impossible. I connected to other websites but not to this one... perhaps as I am using a Xiaomi phone (there was another German couple having the same issue in the terminal). I also called your hotline but it rang for 5 minutes without anyone picking up.
After 35 minutes waiting at the agreed spot... the driver arrived and indicated we had to wait for a second couple arriving from the UK so this should take an extra 20 minutes. We left the airport after 1h05 minutes in the terminal.
=> So no driver at the agreed time + very long time before leaving the airport.
2) Concerning the return from Carvoeiro to Faro Airport, we were surprised as also the other persons in the shuttle that the pickup was for everyone between 6:00am and 6:30am while the first flight for the people in the shuttle was at 11:00am. I know we have a shared shuttle but if the first person is flying out at 11:00 am (and in our case 11:40am), getting people close to 4 hours before their flight (and in our case 4h40minutes), this delay is much too long for everyone (and we all indicated this to the driver who was polite and driving well). So it is purely an organisational issue.
So not satisfied this time on both trips.”
