We’ve been helping our customers create beautiful homes with our made-to-measure blinds, curtains, shutters and awnings for over 50 years.

Choosing the right window treatments can feel overwhelming, but with Hillarys you don't have to worry. When you buy a window dressing from us you can be sure it’s been lovingly finished to the highest standard by our skilled manufacturing team.

Every new design goes through a rigorous testing process that checks it will meet the demands of the average home. If the fabrics don’t meet our standards, they don’t make it into our range. Only the best performing styles should be in your home. It’s as simple as that!

When you book an in-home appointment, your friendly and knowledgeable local advisor will bring along samples of our full product range for you to have a look at, and they’ll work with you to find the right solution for your space. Our team knows all the tricks of the trade, bringing years of experience and expertise right to your doorstep.

They’ll take care of everything, from precise measuring to flawless installation, for a stress-free and stylish finish.

“Great blinds at a good price. Professional service and fitting. Friendly and helpful The same person who measured the blinds ,fixed a fitting date and returned to complete the contract on the day arranged. All fitted perfectly. I would be happy to buy from Hilary’s again”

“The curtains have been very well made and hang beautifully. The fitter took time to get the rails in the best place and did his job with little disruption, taking care over details. It made a difference seeing the samples in my flat rather than trying to remember details of the room while in a shop. I have tried to add a photo but it didn’t work.”

“I was very happy with the price quality and fitting, but the information I was given during my wait was poor. I ordered and paid for the blinds in mid December, and soon after ordering I was told that the fabric we had chosen was out of stock and would not be back in until Feb. We decided to wait as we liked the design. Theoretical blind was fitted in Jan and at thst time I asked to look at the fabrics again in case we need to order an alternative. The person fitting the blind said that if we chose another it would still take 3 weeks to have them made so we may be better to just wait for the original as it was due in soon. I got a message in mid Feb saying the fabric was in and my blinds were being made. I git another call about 10 days later saying 3vblinds were ready and did I want them fitted. I said no I wanted all 4 fitted together I was then told you only had enough fabric for 3 blinds. I asked how was this possible as the fabric was ordered in Dec had you not ordered enough. The could not answer this. I asked fir someone to call me back and explain what is happening. I waited about am jour and when no body called I rang your customer services. They could also not give me any answers and said the person I had spoken too earlier would call me back the next day. The Lady did call and now said my 4th blind would be ready in a few days. To say I was confused was an understatement. We went from not having enough fabric to suddenly being able to complete the order. I was left to assume that either you had not ordered enough fabric in Dec or someone else's blinds had been done first and there was enough left to do my order. I have ordered all my blinds from you in the past and recommended you to friends I even arrange for my local church to have blinds fitted in the church hall but I will certainly think twice before I use you again.”

“They are a complete joke ! Ordered my curtains in November last year , had them fitted in January, then noticed one curtain was damaged!!!! Two months later still waiting for them to replace it 😡😡😡😡😡😡”

After reviewing the situation, we can confirm that the replacement curtains have been ordered and are showing as delivered to the installer back in February. However, when our customer care team spoke with the installer yesterday, he reported that he has not yet received the curtains. “Jamie the fitter was great. Ordered a night and day blinds. There was a tear in one. Not sure how it happened. But Hillarys replaced it straight away no hassle at all. Just said we will make another one and fit it. .”

“Absolutely delighted. Sonny whose first visit to explain everything and his following visit to fit. Sonny was excellent in every way. He is a credit to the company. Would recommend with full confidence and so glad I chose his advice to have electric/battery operated instead of manual. Having cushions to match blinds was lovely to tied it all together visually.”

“I was given an estimated fitting date for my blinds and curtains of December 21st. The eventual date was February 8th! No problem with the quality and the fitting itself, but the delay was ridiculous and I couldn’t cancel of course as the items are made-to-measure. I requested and received a small sum from Hillarys in compensation, but I’d rather have had a more timely fitting”

“Five months ago I placed my order and still don't have my curtains. Awful experience for such an expensive place. My advisor fit my curtains and noticed they were faulty and I'll fitting, not once, not twice but three times. Unfortunately the ones I currently have hanging embarragly in my house are the worst of the three failed attempts. Customer service are a disaster and are currently disputing any fault despite their advisor raising it to me! Awful experience and still unresolved after all the money I've spent. I would avoid using Hilary's. They accept more orders than they can cater for which is clearly resulting in poor quality curtains at extortionate prices.”

“Excellent service from start to.completion, I had an idea of what I wanted for my front bay window and small front window at front of bungalow, I was shown all the options and chose almost immediately, Rob Kemp did measurements came back at a date to suit me and fitted them....I am so pleased with them...it has improved the look of the rooms inside and from outside the property. Highly reccomend...thinking of getting the bathroom done as well.”
